Aesthetically Pleasing Anime Movies
The mentions below are a combination of beautiful visuals animation movies that had captured an immediate attention due to its fresh and appealing color choices and drawing-styles; yet, still intrigued the audience with a unique plot. Before you check out the list, keep in mind that I did not forget any of Studio Ghibli productions. I think every project in Ghibli is so special that I feel I need to make a separate post, don’t you agree? Plus, I want to give a shout-out to other animes. Some are extremely underrated and need much more love and appreciation!  ❤️  this and enjoy~

my approach to teaching my 3 year old to have a healthy relationship with food
preface: i experienced a lot of food restriction, food moralism and food insecurity as a child, and i believe that these factors led to my development of an eating disorder (orthorexia), which i am still recovering from. i am saying all of these things as a parent who wants to innoculate my child against the food moralism that i suffered.
what i do:
i don’t ever force her to eat anything. i will try to persuade her to try something, or to eat more of a thing she knows she likes, but if she still won’t eat the thing, i don’t push it. parenting involves a lot of choosing your battles, and it’s more important to me that she feels respected by me than that she has another bite of a carrot at that particular moment.
we don’t tell her “eat your veggies first” because we don’t want to present eating vegetables as a chore. she likes a lot of vegetables already, and there’s no need to set them apart from other food. we give her a multivitamin to make sure she gets enough vitamins and minerals
we’ve never treated candy or chips or any food as a special reward that she has to earn. if she can have it whenever she wants, then it doesn’t take on any kind of enticing sense of “this is forbidden.” and if she wants to eat an amount of candy that might make her sick, we tell her “i don’t think it’s a good idea to have any more right now because you might get a tummy ache.” and she trusts our judgment.
we will sometimes make small snack trays that have crackers, cheese, raw vegetables and sliced deli meat, and she’ll munch on them. we teach her that she needs to consume carbohydrates, protein and fat to take care of her body, and if she’s been eating exclusively carbs, we remind her that she should eat something with protein and fat, like cheese or peanut butter.
if she doesn’t like a food, we don’t make her eat it. we might ask “do you want to try it again” but we respect her “no.” if she doesn’t like the dinner we made, we’ll let her eat cereal or a sandwich (or something else quick to prepare). because we don’t want her to associate dinner time with conflict. she’s much more willing to try new foods if we don’t pressure her or make it a big deal.
we don’t describe any foods as good or bad for her, because we don’t ever want her to feel guilty for eating. we teach her about the comparative nutritional value of foods without judgment. since we’re not disallowing her from eating any particular foods, she won’t have a drive to eat tons of forbidden “"bad”“ food when she’s older and we’re not present.

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS CREAM. TAKE A GOOD LONG LOOK.
Tumblr media
MEMORIZE THE PACKAGING SO YOU MAKE SURE YOU NEVER BUY THIS CREAM FOR YOURSELF OR ANYONE YOU LOVE.
This post is about vaginas. My vagina in particular. I get yeast infections pretty regularly, and until recently I was able to afford to see a doctor who could prescribe me fluconazole.
Fluconazole, a drug also known by the brand name Diflucan, is a small pink pill. You take two pills a few days apart from each other to restore balance and harmony to your bountiful folds. I’ve never ever had a bad side effect from taking this pill.
Cut to November 2016. I’m a recent college grad without reliable health care coverage in the process of finding a job. And I’m dealing with a yeast infection. Before I moved out of state, my previous doctor told me about Miconazole. She said it was as effective as the pill and hallelujah, it’s over the counter! I decided to purchase the cream pictured above. This treatment only lasted 3 days, a convenient time frame for my schedule.
The application process was a little messy, and some of the cream came in contact with my vulva and labia. Within 5 minutes every piece of skin that had come in contact with the cream, excluding my hands, was on fire. I wanted to scream it was so painful. I began frantically searching for what I should do online.
I found a whole forum of people on drugs.com who had experienced something similar. These comments saved me, and these were just on the first page. There were 33 pages total, the earliest dated July 2009.

I was writhing in pain at 2AM when I found this forum (which I found by searching “my vagina burn itch hurts after miconazole” on Google). As soon as I read these comments I threw the devil cream directly into the trash and jumped in the shower. I didn’t feel any actual relief until I reached in and scraped the cream out of me. I paid $17 plus tax on this bullshit, but I could have just as easily ripped up my money or paid someone to not hurt me.
The moral of the story is that vaginal health care is is completely fucked up because we don’t have access to an over the counter cure for yeast infections that is safe for our bodies and also YOU SHOULD NEVER BUY THIS CREAM EVER.
Reblog to save a vagina.

i wish there was a site that was like. video game hints. that were less walkthroughs and more “it’s in this general area” or “this puzzle is easy if you picked up all seven clues. are you missing one?” or “don’t forget you can [mechanic].” sometimes im stumped but i dont want someone to just tell me the answer…

Supernova - A Light Yagami Analysis
((Yo. This is casuistor reposting my old analyses on a new blog because tumblr has literally terminated my old account twice in two days for shits and giggles, so here we are. In any case, I’m hoping this time there won’t be any hitches and this will stay up for everyone’s perusal. Enjoy!))
So the inevitable has finally happened. Stars aligned and Kim finally did something productive and voila, I have written a character analysis for Light Yagami of Death Note. Love him or hate him, the chessmastering bastard is a damn compelling protagonist.
The reason I’m writing this is because 1) Light’s my favorite character of the series and 2) I’ve found that there’s a pervasive belief that an underlying psychiatric disorder is what leads him to do what he does. I’m not going to waste time being diplomatic about my thoughts on theories like these. These interpretations are not only completely unnecessary, the implicit argument that extreme violence must have a root cause in mental illness is unbelievably toxic. I’ve said this on a different post, but this point bears repeating as I cannot say this with enough emphasis. Under extraordinary circumstances, people can be driven to commit heinous crimes and Light is not exempt.
So what am I trying to accomplish with this post? Well, we’re going to do a thought experiment together. Occam’s razor says that the theory that makes the least amount of assumptions is the most likely to be correct. While that certainly isn’t true of all explanations, I wanted to give this approach a spin. We’re going to put DSM-5 away and we’re going to analyze canon together. This analysis is by no means a complete analysis of Light’s character.  It’s geared specifically towards understanding Light at the start of canon.  We’re going to see if we can grow a mass murderer without resorting to medical diagnoses or supernatural curses/hijinks from Light’s foundations. Spoilers: we definitely can.
SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO.

Marriage is good and weddings are great but I hate modern wedding culture. You don’t need to bankrupt yourself to have a nice wedding. Stop supporting the wedding industry, stop buying outrageously priced engagement rings, stop spending 10k on a dress you’ll only ever wear once.

Is anyone still an anime-only tpn watcher at this point? on mob psycho’s last episode I went on tumblr and there were people on both sides but for tpn everyone’s like “y’all I knew this was coming and it still hurt me” like I’m glad there’s plenty of people to discuss the manga with, but I’m curious where all the anime-onlies are??? Honestly I salute them because after like episode three I couldn’t deal with the cliffhangers and binged the manga so whoever has the willpower to only watch the anime like who are you????

At this point, I’m not sure how it’s significant, but while Emma still thinks this Norman is the same as the old one, Ray thinks of him as “Boss.” Whether that is evidence of the Clone theory or that Ray is distanced from this Norman, I don’t know, but it feels like a hint. 🤔
