Greetings, T3I / Die drei ??? fandom!

Hello! After a considerable amount of ruminating, I have decided to start a sideblog for The Three Investigators! 🤍🩵💚

I'd say I'm quite pleasantly surprised that there are people who are creating content for this fandom in 2025.

At the same time, I realise how out of place I am, even in this tiny fandom:

I only know the original American series, specifically Books 1-9 and 11 as they are the original ones created by Mr. Robert Arthur (RIP 🕊️).

Hence I will be referring to the boys as Jupiter Jones (Jupe) and Peter Crenshaw (Pete) instead of Justus Jonas and Peter Shaw. Also... Worthington instead of Morton, etc. 🥲

I have no access to the German series and audiobooks. Even if I did, I am neither German nor do I speak German. So I don't know a lot of the characters and ships that the fandom might be referring to. 😭

As my name and bio suggest... I ship the rarepair JuPeter (Jupiter Jones/Pete Crenshaw). Been shipping them since I was 13. That's more than a decade ago now. 😂 Yeap I just made up a ship name as I didn't find any established name for it... And I just found out that the fandom mostly ships Bob and Pete!

I am currently planning a fanfic set in the 1980s, with the boys aged up-- considering that they were supposedly 13 in the first book published in 1964, they would be in their late 20s-early 30s in the 1980s-- Jupe and Pete now a detective duo at the Rocky Beach PD, and Bob an established author and journalist who often helped with their cases. I wonder what mystery The Three Investigators will face this time? /wink wink/

As much as I'm excited about the ship, I plan to have this blog and the fanfic feature more detective fiction, historical bits, and fandom reblogs. Not so much on the romance I guess, though it will be highlighted at some points in the fic. So if JuPeter is not your thing, no need to worry as I'm not planning to drown the T3I / Die drei ??? tags with that.

I will be using this blog mainly to fangirl over the original books and share my fanfic. It's a sideblog so I can't like posts or follow blogs, but I will try to engage with the community in whatever ways possible.
