one thing that hurts me the most about all the hate emilia perez is receiving is that the movie itself is not as harmful as the hate is getting to be honest. like if you dont like the movie is fine but it sucks that this is the first movie that has a best lead nominated actress that happens to be a trans woman, and it is received with so much backlash. the hate is just overshadowing the huge accomplishment this is. i honestly loved this movie and it is one of my favorite experiences this year. not sure if the future is bright for trans actresses and i hope the academy continues to award those who deserve so, but it sucks that this performance will simply be overlooked due to the unfair controversy the movie carries. i cant even feel happy nor proud about this movie properly because of how much backlash it is receiving. i never let this type of stuff make me change my mind with things and i even rewatched the movie and it still felt as amazing as it did during the first watch. i hope time does allow this movie to be revisited properly. it is not necessarily perfect and if you dont like it thats alright, but i think it also isnt this awful movie people claiming it to be.

guess who saw nosferatu a couple days ago. ME!!!!!! i cannot understate how freaking good this movie was. like, honest to god, i have so many thoughts regarding it.

fantastic performances, fantastic shots, fantastic vibe, fantastic everything. honestly disturbed me at some points which is a FEAT! for me.

anyways i wanted to do this before anyone else did mr klimt thank you for existing so i can reference your artwork
