[arcane spoilers :) -- 1° season]

okayyy so I just finished the first season of arcane (great show, definetly something to recommend), but there is one thing that bugs me:

when jayce and vi are in the factory, after agreeing they would dismantle silco's empire, and it's a kid who is fighting with an enfoircer to press the button. and at the end of the fight, when the camera zooms in to show they are all kids who are working in the factory.

and it is even confirmed later by silco that their own workers are kids, incluiding the sons and daughters of his criminal friends, who are doing better, economically speaking at least, than most of the underground.

and no one bats an eye? not jayce, who definetly has the power to take those kids to better places? I mean vi must be used to that, but the rest of them? not even a "oops there is something here we need to take care of"?

I don't mean that taking them away would have solved the huge issue the families from the underground are facing, but what bugs me the most is that no one didn't even say "we have to figure out a way to give them a better life, at least out of this factories".

and I know ekko is doing what he can to help (and he is doing a great job), but it's the topside responsability to do it (well, to be fair many things are their responsability and they are not taking care of them but whatever).

so this is just a longer than needed post to say I am just annoyed that the kids are so overlooked by everyone involved, oops, like I get it is part of the issue but omg not even a single comment by anybody.

sometimes we just meet people so they introduce us to a certain piece of art and we never interact again, and that's okay too :)

I'm so annoyed they wrote adam off the military school :( it was a good change for him, it meant structure and fellowship far away from his dad (who was undoubtely limiting his success at his former school); he deserved better.

honestly one is inclined to believe the sparrow academy is a bunch of annoying and entitled siblings but to be fair, the only reason why one doesn't believe the same thing about the umbrella academy is because we never actually see them together like the sparrow one

the fact that christopher exists without any proper explanation as to why he is a cube casually implies that a poor girl didn't only give birth unexpectedly, but also to a cube (?)

if you ask for a private class, please read at least one page of the topic before :) it's wasted time to start explaining from point 0 without even recognizing the names.

starting from point 0 isn't the issue, the issue is people not putting effort in learning the topic.

I love tourists and people from different countries in general because they have such nice things to say sometimes.

the other day, there was a girl with a guy from another country, and she was telling him how every province has something that makes it unique (like apples, chicken, honey, certain clothes, beautiful places).

so he asked what about our city? what's unique about the capital? so she said there were a lot of cultural centers and mostly dance related (tango 💃🏻), and his first reaction was "oh, so you must dance a lot here! that's cool :D"; he was so excited about it, it was the cutest thing.

I love how Raymond Reddington and Tahani Al-Jamil share the habit of telling impertinent stories whenever something comes up that's related to it while none of the other characters understand what they're saying or why. They just go on, saying so many names and places that the other characters have no relation to, until they're done or realize it's not really important.

It's funny how they're total opposites in so many ways but share the habit of doing that.

Reading Girl, Interrupted is like reading All For The Game, you're not the same afterwards, but maybe that was supposed to happen, that's who you were supposed to become eventually.

It changes everything, in a good although confusing way. And it's okay, or it will be eventually if it's not now.

fun fact: cooking is harder than it looks like sometimes!

so don't worry if things don't go just as you planned to, if it gets messy, if it doesn't go as it did last time or if it doesn't look good even when you followed every step of the recipe. cooking isn't always following the recipe step by step, and the result depends on many things so take a breathe, finish it and think about how it went this time so you can do it better next time!
