okay so we all agree that we need more gay movies/shows, right? yes. well if hollywood were to actually listen to us and give us another gay movie, i'd like it to be a gay movie in which being gay isn't the whole plot point. The characters don't have to overcome their gayness as an obstacle, no teary coming out, they're just gay. Simple as that. just once, let a character be gay without the obstacles that hollywood thinks we all face. yes, a lot of us do, but that just pushes the idea that that's how it's supposed to be. that we're supposed to have a difficult life purely because we're gay. it teaches kids that it's okay to pick on gay people. that's just the way life is sometimes. destroy the idea that being gay must equal hardship. please.
