you're a goalie you're the last line of defense but sometimes you're the only defense and theres five of them and one of you and they score and score and you get pulled out and have to sit on the bench and watch the team play better for the other goalie and people say it's your fault you lost and then you sit in your own little cubicle away from the rest of the team and you have your own coach and you don't join in with the others at practice and you have your own routines and stretches and then you're on the ice again and you're in a room with nearly twenty thousand people but its just you and your net and your team scores and you raise your arms to celebrate but they just huddle around each other and don't even look at you and then the other team has the puck and your only job is to stop the puck and you can't and you lose and maybe the some of the other guys don't really look you in the eye anymore and you fought and clawed your way here and it's all slipping away and when you were a child is this how you thought it would end?
