think they’re too young/old to regress

experience involuntary or impure regression + find it difficult instead of relaxing - because regression isn’t always going to be good or what’s expected

i would really love to do christmas baking with my future caregiver them knowing i dont have good motor skills when tiny, so they give me tasks appropriate to my little age. getting ingredients out, stirring things, taste testing, throwing things away, stuff like that! knowing i cant add in the dry or wet ingredients without them standing over me to make sure i dont spill or drop it beforehand. if i get upset about any part im not allowed to do, ill go "i big girl mama! helpi!" "oh baby i know youre a big girl, but mama wants to be extra careful, okay?" i want them to know how being autistic factors into my regression, so they wont be surprised when i echolaliate what they say, not actually meaning it. "okay, so the recipe is saying to add some butter here" "budder here!" counting with me whenever! "mommy has to add 2 cups of flour, can you help her count? one...t- little love use your fingers- there you go, two!" and id clap n giggle happily. i dont think id help out much, more like babble to my mama and tug on her for attention between watching the cartoon and coloring the picture she set out for me because she already knew id get bored of just baking. i applaud regressors who are still as smart n functional when tiny, but i am nottt one of those-

Imagine you accidentally made a mistake while playing with your caregiver and you start spiralling and can't stop apologizing and saying you're a bad kid. Then they take your hand, "hey, breathe. Look at my face. Does it look like I'm mad at you?"

And then them giving you a hug once you've calmed down and helping you fix the mistake

Caregivers are people to 👏

It makes me so upset seeing people only message caregivers because they want a dynamic. Agere is such a personal thing why would you want a stranger to take care of you??? GET TO KNOW THEM?? Be friends maybe???? I understand wanting to be taken care of but this is the internet anything can happen!! Not just that you’re not being very fair to the Cg, they should want to take care of you because they want to not because you force them too. If you do that you suck and should fix it!! I just have seen alot of “pick me Littles” and it makes me so upset that they try to take advantage of cg. I haven’t been part of this community for very long and am still learning how to navigate it but this side is the part that I really HATE.

Message to all littles!!!

PLEASE be careful about strangers on the internet!!! I know, I know you’ve gotten this conversation probably a million times by now… but seriously. Listen to me VERY closely.

You should not be sharing (or at least shouldn’t have to feel like you have to be sharing) all these sensitive and private parts of yourself.

A HUGE reason why most people don’t talk about the ugly parts of their age regression (Such as accidents, tantrums, meltdowns, etc.) is BECAUSE of weird people on the internet who sexualise those aspects of others or themselves. It’s painful and upsetting, yes. But that includes being safe about posting caregiver applications.

I (unfortunately) still get HUNDREDS of NSFW accounts and DDLG accounts interacting with my posts! Which, sucks, but my posts are rarely related to my age regression itself (at least the posts that those accounts interact with.)

Think about it. Do you REALLY want and feel comfortable about your most vulnerable and innocent part of yourself being left alone with a total stranger on the other side of the screen?

(The answer to that should be no, Little ones.)

I am a bit of a hypocrite to this as my caregivers are online and whilst they have proven themselves to want what is best for me and we have both shown our vulnerabilities to each other, it does not change the fact that these people are still strangers on the internet.

Posting “looking for a caregiver!” Applications is essentially saying “Would someone be okay with a child/teen/a vulnerable and younger version of myself messaging you?”.

Age regression does not necessarily mean that you have to be naive or overly trusting. Think about it like this, would you feel safe showing or asking someone to do an activity with a physical baby? If the answer is no, you shouldn’t request it for your own age regression!

So, again, PLEASE be careful! You do not need to post sensitive information about yourself or your safe space!
