I'm so curious about what's happening with Akane. Why is he - in only this loop - seemingly unaffected by everything? Why does he say "I finally found" you when the Akanes of other loops never reached out for Nene? Were the loop Akanes Akane? Is this Akane? Is the focus on his eyes something to be acknowledged? The way they're so supernatural-y. Why is he in his supernatural form? What happened to him?

...Is this a parallel?

There's no way something happened only on this loop to make him suddenly get out of where he's supposed to be, as the "red house adventures Akane" he's supposed to be in every loop. He says I finally found you, he's been up to something else than dying all this time. Or maybe there is a way? Anyway it feels like he too time traveled here or somehow got into an "observer" position during all the loops. I have a hard time thinking that this would be the same Akane that got killed in all Nene's travels.

What if that's only his spn side? Only the Keeper of the Present. The loops did something to him due to his connection w/ time? I can't help but feel like his detached stance and him "magically" appearing at Nene's worst like this kinda evokes supernaturals.

What if, instead, it's the real Akane and the others were just "loops replacements" so that everything was still stable? What has he been up to during all the loops?

Honestly I'm down for a multiple self Akane thing. Or not quite but something along the lines. Depends on how well it is lead but I feel like this being just the supernatural,"The Keeper of the Present", or an Akane more nuanced than just Akane himself would make sense w/ where the story is seeming to lead rn and could be very interesting. I'm expecting him to get more focus soon so I'm...kiiiiiiiinda excited!!
