🌟basic agere definitions🌟

🍄this is an info post for those who may be new to the online agere community!🍄

🌈agere- shortened word for age regression, a coping mechanism in which an individual regresses to a younger (typically infant to toddler, but can include any age) headspace either to cope with past trauma and heal their inner child or to cope with disorders such as anxiety or depression, using agere as an escape!🌈

🧃cg- short for caregiver, a person who looks after a regressor as if they were an older sibling or parent figure. This can be anyone that you trust enough to care for you're regressed and may be a partner, close friend, or family member.🧃

🦖noncom- short for non community, used to describe a regressor who doesn't necessarily identify with the online agere community 🦖

🐞agedre- short for age dreaming, a state in which one is partially regressed, or where one is pretending to be regressed to induce regression 🐞

Feeling like you can’t regress?

here are some things that help me feel smoll <3

coloring: If you have a dollar store near you, buy some coloring books, if not, you can always draw

TV: watch a comfort cartoon/movie, sometimes I watch movies or shows from my childhood and they help!

decorate: set up a little space corner in your room! mines has a canopy, cartoon mat, water mat for coloring, stuffies, and my toy chest!

journaling: use agere journal prompts! they’re really fun and easy to do

hygiene: take a warm bubble bath and bring some toys in the tub if you have any

dress up: I know sometimes when I’m a bit stuck out of LS, I take a nice warm shower with lots and lots of soap and bubbles, and then I play dress up!

snack time: eat your favorite snackie! this is another thing I do, personally I like choosing things from my childhood like PB&J or Dino nuggies! Or if you live near a supermarket or dollar store (with a food isle) you can get a lunchables or kid cuisine!

let’s make a mess: get messy! this always puts me in a playful mood, you can finger paint or play with slime!

music: listen to music! I like listening to fresh beat band, or jacks big music show!

party time: Have a party with your stuffies, it could be a fun dance party, or an elegant tea party!

crafting: If you have a paci, decorate it! If not, make bracelets!!

games: play video games, or use apps on your phone, I like ones that are really interactive

If I can think of more I will definitely add more but that’s it for now!!

Baby scrungles was visited by a little friend today.

Sadly baby scrungles is still nakey cause we haven't found them any good clothes that suit them. But it's been rlly fun taking care of them!
