Whimsy stories part 8

With fall starting Lorelei and the kids are making the most of the last warm autumn days. Lorelei is grinding that last skill of the generation - wellness. Fawn has managed to come out of her comfort zone enough to make a friend.

Lorelei's taken her last freelance gig possibly ever. It's bittersweet, this is the job that gave L her first taste of stability so, it's a bit scary to leave. But lately the terrible customers and, feeling like a corporate sell out have the cons outweighing the pros. On the bright side our aspiration is complete!

Fawns smart, everyone's known that since the day she was born but, lately Bay's taken a notice to it. He begins to wonder if he'll ever measure up, after all being the brightest kid in class is something to strive for. Although the two are still close, Bay can't help but tease Fawn, he's got to keep her off her high horse sometimes!

Happy father's day Gus! L grilled some mushroom steak and made sure everyone gave dad a gift!

When deciding to stop freelancing I knew I'd still need to do something for money. Gardening pays but, I need to do something with fabrication still, I feel I haven't fully explored it yet. I knew I still wanted to work for our selves so I decided to buy a retail store - Minds and Makers Co.

Lorelei will sell her fabricated items, candles, our backyard grown fruits, flowers and honey. On top of all this there's a spacious upstairs that we currently can't afford to furnish but - I have a plan for. This gen certainly still has some life to live.

Whimsy stories part 7

It's finally time for Lorelei to age up. I've been eagerly awaiting this so we can finally expand the house. Currently there's just not enough room, to even give one of the kids a hug they have to go to the yard... definitely not sustainable to raise twins and a dog in a 32-tile space. Anyways here's to adulthood, and a 100-tile house.

They'd been saving for this expansion ever since their first child actually wound up being number one and two. They now have the space for all the rooms you'd find in a normal house, 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms... Maybe we can even squeeze in a 4th room for a possible third child. Lorelei does have the whim for another baby. I'm still so on the fence about it but, if it's a call I'll have to make soon.

With all of this new found space they've added 2 goats, turnip and, basil to their family for goat yoga.

Again the family invited over some friends to celebrate the last few days of summer. Hannah and her husband where the first to spot fire works. They set off some of their own too!

Bay is turning into such a social butterfly. He really hit it off with the Reed's son they're pretty much best friends. Of course he pesters his entire family too. He's really taken a liking to this one neighbor girl who plays with him at the park.

As for Fawn, she's definitely more reserved, she has a few acquaintances but no close friends just yet. She's supper focused on her studies and has already achieved an A in school.

Because they're now in their forever home Gus is determined to make sure it feels like a home. He's spent hours upgrading the families appliances.

Sprout unfortunately got real sick after aging up into an elder. Lorelei sorted that out and promptly gave her an age down treat. I'm just not ready to lose her yet.

Aspiration progress- Lorelei needs to craft 9 more candles and tackle 2 more freelancer gigs to finish her aspiration. As she reenters the workforce she begins to truly understand the term rat race she knows she can't freelance forever...

Wellness (level 9.5)- Her last remaining skill to master is wellness. I've fiddled with this skill in the past but never completed it. Now that I have all the objects and have spent lots of time with the skill I've formed an opinion. I love that this isn't one of those entirely OP skills that your sim can cheat their way through life in. I like the realism and the animations for this skill are top tier.

Whimsy stories part 6

Fawn is exploring the very beginnings of her toddlerhood. She wants to know everything there is to know and "why" is her favorite question these days. Confidently she works towards Mastry of the toddler skills.

Bay is always on the go, he's never bored.

The Wiseman family had a much overdue get together with friends. They ordered pizza told stories the while nine yards. Everyone had a blast!

With the twins becoming increasingly independent Lorelei and Gus have more time to focus on them. They took a little daytrip to the willow creek park to celebrate Lorelei's first Mother's Day as a mom. I'm trying to focus on the current generation I've still got a few ideas for their adult stage to play out. Be on the lookout Lorilei ages into an adult soon so the next update will be BIG!

Gus is having a great time bonding with his kiddos, it almost makes him feel like they should try for another.

With summer in full swing, the family decided to take a trip to Granite falls. They enjoyed roasted veggie dogs, spent time in the great outdoors and, bonded over stories told around the fire.

Gus and Lorelei even managed to squeeze in a date at the diner. They really took some time to reflect on their young adult years and where they want to head over the next few years. With plenty of big ideas they decided they'd start on a home expansion just after Lorelei's birthday.

With her young adult years coming to an end, I feel it's important to discuss where Lorelei is on her generational goals.

Skill wise she's completed all required skills aside from wellness, she's currently a level 9.

Her aspiration is on the last level, I've taken a step back from working on that one so we have something to do in her adult years aside from raising kids.

Her garden is still thriving and I'm still in love with this household.

With such a busy summer the twins birthdays really snuck up on us!

Fawn aged up with the perfectionist trait, she will most likely be our generation 2 heir. She wants to be the smartest kid in school.

Bay aged up with the playtime captain aspiration and the goofball trait. I foresee their dynamic going forward being a little rocky. With Fawn's rigid outlook on life, wanting things to go perfectly at all times and Bay running through life on shits and giggles.

Whimsy stories part 5

Fawn, she was our quick learner. Anything she set out to do she did quickly and near miraculously independently.

Bay, although he's wiggly required more assistance and time to hit milestones. Just before aging up he learned to sit up.

As you could expect being newly weds with an unexpected set of twins wasn't easy on Lorelei and Gus. It took a lot of hard work and date nights to stay connected and on good terms. For several days their friendship bar dipped below half way. (don't worry we fixed it)

Lorelei's still fully committed to her goals. So far she's maxed handiness and fabrication - Wellness is the only skill left to max and we're almost there!

here's what I'm thinking about the skills, handiness had the potential to be so good. But, sadly it's just not. The animations are good but what you can make just isn't cute and there's not a lot of variety. I am getting into upgrades and that aspect I think, was very well done. Fabrication, I'm enjoying. I've owned eco lifestyle for years and never touched this skill because of how confusing it is at first. The skill is pretty intense its not just do x and get skill its, go find x then buy this expensive thing then make this but keep finding x or you can't make anything. I LOVE the complexity, but the craft Ables aren't very diverse... cute candles though. Wellness is pretty cute and has some nice benefits I'm not fully through that one though, so I'll fully form an opinion after maxing the skill.

Also the twins aged up, they're toddlers!! This is Fawn before and after her makeover. She's inquisitive and I'm thinking she could be our heir.

And here's Bay, he's adorable. I felt the wild trait was the most fitting after his questionable behavior as an infant.

Again the twin thingsss, I'm actually starting to not hate that we had twins. I am still really hating the micro home though.

There's still so much I have planned for generation one and generation two's story is just beginning! For the twins I'm thinking Fawn will be pretty reserved but also crazy bright. Bay will definitely fill more of a pesky wild brother role.

As for our founding generation Lorelei still has to finish the master maker aspiration. I'm looking forward to expanding their house, they'll finally have room to simply exist inside. Also, by expanding the house I can see if there's enough room for a possible third child, who knows they could be the heir. I'd also love to add goats for goat yoga.

Whimsy stories part 4:

The fourth and final day of Lorelei and Gus's honeymoon was beautiful, sunny and warm. The two spent the last day relaxing and connecting. Lord knows with a baby on the way there won't be too much time for relaxing.

The return to New Crest was exciting as both of them had been homesick and, are eager to make any final preparations for the new baby.

Just one day later Lorelei began to have contractions. In true crunchy mom fashion she opted to have her baby at home.

And of course, the one time I don't want twins the game gives me TWO babies. Mama's got their little girl, Fawn and dad's got their son, Bay.

Although twins would challenge any new parent Lorelei still managed to care for herself and build her skills. BIG accomplishments have been made in the last several days, she's finally maxed her first challenge skill: handiness. Now while raising her family she'll just need to finish one more level of the fabrication skill and, the last 4 levels of wellness. Even her garden is still thriving.

Bay and Fawn aging up into infants brings a new adventure. We've managed to squeeze two cribs into their micro home as, I refuse to bend the rules and Lorelei still has a week and a half until she ages up and we can expand the house. Infant twin interactions are ADORABLE Bay is always smiling and cooing and Fawn.

The twins even had their very first visitor, Hannah.

I'd only ever intended on the pair having 2 children as they must live in a micro home their entire young adult lives and can never expand past a small home. However, after having twins our first go around, I'm still feeling a family member is missing. When both Gus and Lorelei age up I'm strongly considering a third child.

Whimsy sories extended pt. 3

As winter comes to an end and spring begins Lorilei and Agustus' lives are really speeding up. The garden is back in bloom and of course the back yard needed an upgrade.

We're expanding the family ever so slowly by getting grubs and bees!

Finaly they're married! Despite all of the noticeable bugs with MWS the wedding went relatively smoothly. They both gained the married to my best friend sentiment (freaking adorable!)

They decided on Sulani for their honeymoon. They arrived around 5pm so their first day was spent exploring their vacation home (its STUNNING)

The first full day was rainy but still full of adventure. Lorilei took a bike ride to explore the island and even met a dolphin!

Day two was much nicer weather so they where able to have a beach day, thankfully they both avoided a sunburn.

Day four was another rainy one but they made the best of it by going to a local restaurant. They even had the cute little wild chickens roaming around! Almost makes it worth the food poisoning.

The drinks had at dinner will be the last for a while... Lorilei is expecting!!! Gen 2 here we come. I felt as if Lorilei's experienced enough of life to begin having her children, she's well over halfway through her generational goals. Her tiny home is complete with 15k to spare, she's level 9 of fabrication, 8 in handiness and 5 of wellness.

With this challenge it's a fine line between maintaining a small enough household to fit into a micro home and also having children before you become elderly, I really want Lorilei to meet her grand babies someday. I'm truly growing very attached to this household.

Whimsy stories part 2

Lorelei was eager to get her home upgraded as quickly as possible, so she's spent many days crafting items to go into her home and to sell.

A big motivator to turn her house into a home is her boyfriend - she really really wants him to move in.

But it hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows Alice saw Lorelei out in public and decided to confront her. Lorelei was having none of it, Alice was the one who refused to break off her marriage and take things to the next level. Needless to say they're no longer on speaking terms.

As much as Lorelei was bothered by the conversation her and Alice had she knew she needed to focus on herself and her goals. She powered through all of the discomfort and just kept grinding.

And finally she was able to afford a more permanent home that hopefully her and her family can grow into.

Lorelei surrenders to no obstacle, she'll tend to her garden rain or blizzard. She loves the outdoors but this is pushing it.

And finally the engagement we've all been waiting for...

Whimsy stories extended part 1

Meet Loreli -traits- loves outdoors, freegan, maker

She started out homeless, nothing to her name but a (cheep) tent and a pee bush. Thanks to dumpster diving and her green thumb, she's been able to construct her very own micro home. It's not much, VERY humble, but this is what Lorelei's always dreamed of. So, she's certainly not taking any of this for granted.

Her favorite hobby- of passion- is making things with her own two hands. Slowly she's been fabricating, candle making and woodworking to not only furnish her own home but, sell the items she creates.

Shortly after pitching her tent in Newcrest she met a boy and man, it was love at first sight. She tried dating around, even got into a messy throuple with Alice and her husband. At the end of the day she just couldn't shake the feeling that he was meant for her. They even share their infatuation with the outdoors.

Today was the day, they're finally official!

This save file uses all EP’s, GP’s (not Journey to Batuu), SP’s and most of the kits (Country Kitchen, Blooming Rooms, Incheon Arrivals, Retro Fit, Industrial loft, Moonlight Chic, Little Campers, Pastel Pop, Everyday Clutter, Bathroom Clutter, Simtimates Collection, First Fits, Desert Luxe, Modern Luxe, Poolside Splash, Book Nook, Basement treasures, Greenhouse Haven, Pastel Pop and Bust the Dust).

What’s new in this update?:

Chestnut Ridge and Tomarang have been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.

Added new households (when living in world; with jobs, friends, preferences etc).

Added rental lots in multiple other worlds outside of Tomarang (Brindleton Bay, Henford-on-Bagley, Britechester and more).

Spooky Fall Festival has been moved to Chestnut Ridge (bigger with haunted house ride). The old lot in Brindleton Bay has been changed into a cemetery.

What do you get with this save?:

For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exceptions: I have added the official builds for the releases of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley and the Dream Home Decorator GP by Deligracy to this save, since I thought they deserved a spot. These two are therefore not my own creations, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley and Deligracy. Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill, Copperdale, San Sequoia and Chestnut Ridge lots are largely created by GameChangers. Most lots have gotten smaller updates, others are completely new builds by me.

All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story.

Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).

I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.

Other details:

As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except Journey to Batuu and some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can still download and play in it.  

I disabled the autonomous fame gain and neigborhood action plan voting/environmental changes, you enable them again in the pack settings menu.

I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update.

Sadly every game update comes with a lot of bugs. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).

BEETLE EYES 2 - squea

Now with improved textures for human defaults! Plus- all new optional non-default addon colours!! These extras come in 54 colours!! The first 28 are from @serindipitysims​ historian pallette and the rest are colours I thought looked cool with the last 12 being duotones! They show up after the default 18 colours and are (hopefully) genetic compatible! Comparison of the old texture vs the new below the cut!

Meet Rhea, the founder of the time of your life legacy! She was adopted as an infant to a sweet couple in Windenburg. The only thing she knew about her biologic parents was that they lived in Salvadoroda. She's always wanted to know everything there is to know about her heritage but - her adoptive parents did everything they could to prevent it. Now that her adoptive parents have passed away Rhea is finally free to explore.

After checking out the city Rhea lets her adventurous side out by exploring the jungle. Despite the general uncomfortability that comes along with jungle exploration, Rhea is in awh of how beautiful her native land is.

She had many close calls with mysterious people in the woods and jaguars.

After hours of exploration Rhea found a temple. She quickly conquered it and found many relics!

Things in peppers life are starting to speed up. She's nearing level 6 of the logic skill and nearly at level 6 of the scientist career.

Pepper's first born is about to age up to a toddler!

Roscoe is enjoying his last few hours of infancy. He's wound up a very accomplished infant.

As cute as Roscoe is, I've decided he will not be the next heir. Pepper will have several more children, I intend for the next baby to be the heir. Roscoe is fun to play with, but I'd like the chance to explore life with all of peppers children.

Lastly pepper and Sherman celebrated their favorite day of the year - prank day!

NSB part 3. Pepper is still working hard trying to get past level 5 of the scientist career, she's incredibly close!

Roscoe - their only (for now) baby is an infant now. He's got the calm trait and is the MOST peaceful baby.

Pepper is shaping up to be a great mom and Roscoe is seeing the full benefits of her effort. He's gaining new milestones every day, each waking moment he's being cared for and worked with. He truly does have everything he could want.

Special occasions like harvest fest never fail to remind pepper what is truly important, food. Oh - and family of course. She worked for hours on a vegetarian friendly tofurkey dinner.4

Of course Pepper isn't the only family member to participate in the preparations

Pepper truly has a life to be thankful for, it's a beautiful day to celebrate.
