I kind of fell in love with Ellie a little bit on sight.

Ellie is my fucking inspiration and I love her as a character and I love the quest she gives you to grab the little decorations the bandits made of her. She’s made fun of for her body, her mom is trying to make her change the way she looks, she seems to be a walking fat joke at first, but you talk to her and get to know her and she is proud of her body and appearance and does not want to change who she is or what she looks like just because that’s what other people want her to do. She will not bend to the traditional corrupted image of “beauty,” being skinny and wearing makeup and looking like a model–

She is beautiful the way she is and she god damn knows it.

She’s taught me to be proud of my appearance and my body and ignore the people that try to change me or make fun of me.

Did I mention that I fucking love Ellie?

So! If you follow me on my main blog or Twitter or what have you, you’ve probably seen me yammer on about Borderlands 2 on multiple occasions. That’s because honestly, BL2 is probably my favorite game that I’ve played in years. The characters, the humor, the soundtrack, the gameplay - pretty much everything hits all the right buttons for me. It also appears to have been made by some pretty cool people who’ve taken it upon themselves in recent years to make gaming more inclusive and awesome, and this is the game where they started that in earnest, so that adds to the cool factor.

In all honesty an accurate favorites list of the characters for me would be ‘Nearly All Of Them Yes Even Claptrap’, so I just buckled down and drew my absolute Top Six Favorite Borderlanders. Because dang this dumb game (and its upcoming (pre)sequels, from the looks of it) makes me pretty happy.

Perform a mating dance at the village square. Make sure your chin points to the one you fancy and clap your hands three times. Announce to the sky "RAVIOLI RAVIOLI WHAT'S IN THE POCKET-OLI?!" and present them with a Valentine soaked in the sweat from your anxiety or the tears of past heartache (a combination of both is fine, too).

The Valentine should include your name, phone number and any major food allergies. Then the one you fancy can call you within the next week. If it wasn't meant to be and one week passes then you must post a sad face emoji to the first social media site you open and you will be free to try again.

Sooooo we met Nolan north who absolutely adored our tales cosplays! He was really cool and nice and officially has a borderlands button. Said he loved the games himself which was really cool! August has officially met his voice actor =D
