Chapter 5 has been posted!

Its been a while, life got in the way of working on this chapter and it had a couple things that needed editing but it's ready to go now. I'm excited to get the next chapter edited and ready as the story starts picking up from there but for now I hope everyone enjoys this chapter and looks forward to what's too come.

This chapter took some time to edit and fix up but its ready now. This chapter is a special one as it contains one of the first scenes I envisioned for this story that helped push me to fully write it. The next chapter is in the works and will be out when it ready.

After 4 months of work my story has finally been posted. So far it's just the first chapter and it might be some time before the next one is posted as me and my beta-reader/editor are still working on it. But I'm excited to share the rest of the story's first arc once its ready.

Fionna & Cake Recoronation update #7

Happy Holidays, unfortunately this month (12/23) kept me and my beta-reader busy with life stuff so not a lot of progress was made on the fic. Chapter 1 is pretty much complete and just needs a look over before its ready to post but every other chapter (2-9) of the first arc needs editing still. However, besides chapter 2 and 9 every other chapter shouldn't need much work. Chapter 1 should post some time in January and once 2 is finished every other chapter should shortly follow.

Fionna & Cake Recoronation update #6

Unfortunate news, after another beta-read session and some editing I have come to the realization that the fic won't be ready by the end of the month (11/23). We really want this fic to be as good as it can be so it needs more time in the editing oven. The first arc has been fully written but every chapter needs touch up. The new goal is to have it ready for mid to late December. I'll update when significant progress has been made. See you all in December, looking froward to posting this fic.

Fionna & Cake Recoronation update #5

With a little over a week left in the month I thought now would be a good time for another update. The fic, specifically Arc 1, is deep in the editing process. Me and my beta-reader have been going back and forth on every chapter trying to make them the best they can be. Going over the word count of my chapters, its still a little lacking but I'm happy where its at. The first arc is looking to be 9 chapters and I would like for all of them to be finalized before I post the first so I can do a chapter a week. Then I would 'go on hiatus' while I work on arc 2. While me and my beta-reader have some work to do the fic is still on track to be posted by the end of the month (11/23). I'll give an update if that changes and I'll definitely post the link when its out.

If anyone's confused I'm tagging the major players of arc 1. More will be added once arc 2 and 3 get worked on.

Fionna & Cake Recoronation update #4

A good amount of progress has been made recently so I decided to put out an update. I'm currently drafting the last chapter of arc 1 and my beta-reader has started going over the fic. His attention to detail has been a major help in editing and beefing up the word count of my chapters so I'm no longer worried about my story having overly short chapters. The summery will be getting a small update so it won't be exactly as it was in update#2. The editing process is taking longer than I thought but I'm still planning to release the first chapter by the end of this November and release the rest of arc 1 chapters weekly. Afterword's I'll be working on arc 2.

The person I mentioned in my last post has agreed to proof/beta-read my fic but its going to take some time for them to look it over and make suggestions. That along with arc one still needing a bit of work is why I've decided to delay posting my story's first chapter to the end of next month (11/23). If significant progress is made I might post early but we'll have to see.

Adventure Time Fionna & Cake fic update #2

Steady progress has been made on drafting the first arc of my fic. Splitting the chapters as I write out the ark has been a non-issue so my current writing method is working out well. My only issue is that my chapters are coming out rather short, I'm hoping I can expand them when I go back to finalize them otherwise the story is looking like it'll consist of many short chapters. I might have someone who can proof/beta-read my story so depending on how that works out their might be some delays.

Since I'm making good progress writing I'm going to share some more information

Fic Title: Fionna & Cake Recoronation

(Working) Fic Summary: Fionna thought she was finished with magic crowns and curses after Scarab was dealt with, but as her good friend Simon once told her the past always finds ways to rear its oozing face when you least expect it. Ever since that strange bug came out of her ice cream cart Simone’s world kept getting stranger, she tries not to lose herself in the bustle of the present but lately she’s been feeling off, probably just a stress cold from all the changes going on around her. Marshall thinks he has his future all figured out, a fledgling music career, an awesome boyfriend who’s pastries will surely take him far and minimal contact with his mother, it's not like he has any unresolved issues and feelings to sort out regarding his childhood, that’s all behind him.

Once again my goal is to have the first chapter posted by the end of current month(10/23) but I might delay it depending on how the proof/beta-read situation goes and if I want more of the first ark drafted before I go back and finalize the first chapter.

Adventure Time Fionna & Cake fic update #1

Small progress was made recently that I wanted to share. I figured out the last major scene I was missing so now the entire story can be followed beginning to end. I also got the story's structure figured out. I split the plot into arcs and instead of trying to figure out the chapters. I'm going to write out each ark and then split it into chapters. I'll see how this goes and report on it in my next update.

Once I've made decent progress writing the first ark I'll post more information including the title, summery and characters but for now I'll share a spoiler free premise.

The fic is a plot driven sequel to the Fionna & Cake series focusing on fionaworld/mudainworld a couple months after the end of the last episode.

My goal is still to have a chapter posted by the end of the month(10/23), I'll give an update when appropriate.

Fic announcement

I'm currently in the process of drafting an Adventure Time Fionna & Cake fanfic. I'm hoping to have the first chapter posted by the end of the month(Oct 2023), at least that's the goal. If I can't make it I'll give an update. Progress wise I have the plot planed out and all but one major scene figured out. I'm currently working on the story's structure mainly how I'm going to split up the chapters, once that's decided I should be clear to actually start writing.

Hello, welcome to my fandom blog. I primary used this blog to follow and like other fandom enthusiast and you can probable tell what fandoms I'm into by looking at my likes and follows. That's not all of them, I'll be happy to discuss others if I'm into them. Anyway I've been working on fic drafts and I'm getting close to posting one of them. I'll put more details in a another post, so enjoy you're stay. I don't have much at the moment but I'm hoping to grow the blog from here.
