i love watching the deterioration of mr samuel as time goes on, he is clearly losing it

also the way ms madeline was gone in the last episode????? and then she sang to us????? the way the setting got darker and more barren as the episodes progressed???????? i love weird art this show is so good

it just feels so lonely and sad and yet i feel weirdly comforted by it, i couldn’t tell you why. it feels like such a pocket dimension if you know what i mean????? like it’s so completely separate from our world that even though it’s creepy and a bit lonely, it’s a nice little break to share that time with the characters.

it’s so sad to watch all Mr Samuel’s friends leave as time goes on :( and as i said above, to see the way he is deteriorating? so sad but so good. you can see the craziness in his eyes (btw shoutout to the person who plays him, he is a great actor)

also for all of you who follow me on my main know how much i love puppetry, and OMG IT’S SO GOOD IN THIS SHOW??????? ms madeline has to be my favorite, i love how her clock hands move. the puppets are so creepy but also really cute?????? i love them so much

and as i said in the tags the SET DESIGN. OMG. especially knowing how it was inspired by a form of psychological torture, that is LITERALLY THE COOLEST THING EVER. it is so wonky and weird and creepy and sad and AGH SO GOOD!!! the way that by the last episode there’s only a single window left :((( also does anyone think the black hole on the floor means anything???? is that where everything is going???

also the songs are really good, the lullaby format makes them so heartbreaking and creepy yet comforting

and the actors do an AMAZING job. ms madeline’s voice is so weird and a little uncomfy but i love it. and as i said before mr samuel is portrayed SO well

ok anyways that’s my little rant, go watch the show to know what i mean it’s so good
