all the older boybands & their members (mcfly, busted, nsync, backstreet boys, take that & robbie) posting tributes is also really doing me in. like there is no precedent for this, so many of these bands had a member or two who struggled hard with addiction but they are still here and the shock in their statements is palpable. this was just never supposed to happen, these boys were supposed to get to grow old together

ppl can grieve who he was while he was in the band while simultaneously understanding and supporting a victim of his.

it’s mourning the memories and emotions not the person he was behind closed doors.

Oooh… an angsty snippet from one of my WIPs, you bet! Here’s the opening of the divorced y/n story I’m working on:

Harry was sleeping soundly when the aggressive buzzing of his cell phone against his nightstand pulled his attention. With his eyes still closed, he pats his hand around, looking for the offending object. Once he found it, he swiped his thumb across the screen and brought it to his ear.

“Hmm?” He grunted sleepily.

“H-Harry?” The soft, emotional voice of his best friend was like a bucket of cold water being poured on him. Suddenly, he was wide awake and sitting up in bed, overwhelmed with concern.

“Y/N? What’s wrong?”

There’s a brief silence before Y/N speaks again. “Oh no, the time difference! It’s the middle of the night for you I-”

“Doesn’t matter,” Harry interrupts her, she lives in LA, so it was early evening for her. “What’s the matter?”

“I, um… it’s over… me and Paul…” Saying the words out loud makes the reality of the situation sink in for her and she lets out a soft sob, breaking Harry’s heart.

“Over? What do you mean, over?” Harry asks, his brain still foggy with sleep as he tries to process the information.

She sniffles and takes a shaky breath. “I filed for divorce today.”

Harry feels as though his heart stops. He’s hurting for his friend, of course, she had been with her husband longer than he’d known her, he knew how much of herself she gave to him. But more than that, there was the tiniest sliver of hope.

Concept/Medium Stages (Lots of ideas, nothing written): Harry x Stand Up Comedian Y/N

Currently Writing: Harry’s best friend, who he’s always had feelings for, but she’s been in a relationship for as long as he’s known her, is getting a divorce.

so I just started here on Tumblr and wtf is the likes to reblogs ratio 😭😭

it’s when a post has tons on likes, but not so many reblogs

flor example, most posts here have over 1,000 notes but just 40 are reblogs or even less

reblogging is important here bc that’s the way posts and blogs can reach more people, so if you see a fic, edit, gif set or just a post that you like, make sure to reblog it

plus tumblr blogs are attention seekers with a praise kink we love when you guys reblog or stuff and tell us that you like it 😚
