No cause what do you mean lwj dreamed about raping wwx when they were teens? And wwx’s response was not only finding it hot, but thinking he should’ve been rougher and SHOULD HAVE ACTUALLY DONE IT??

I get it. They’re into cnc. They’ve made that VERY clear. But cnc tends to have a heavy focus on that first c and a lot of what they do is bordering or just straight not consensual.

I try so hard to understand writers and how they want the audience to feel and I really believe we’re supposed to find the “smut” in mdzs hot but it is so hard when it’s so violent.

What’s worse is that it feels so out of character. The rest of the books made it feel like lwj was so soft for wwx and extremely protective of him so for him to get off on wwx begging for mercy feels just so wrong.

And don’t get me wrong, I know lwj isn’t the only aggressor. Wwx has just as many consent issues between kissing and sleeping with lwj when they were drunk and fucking 17/18 year old lwj in their dreams he cannot claim to solely be a victim.

With how busted wen chao looked in the untamed I was really hoping the book would cover a bit more back story as to how he got that way

I got to a point where wen zhuliu was treating his wounds and I was like “ah damn they just show the damage and don’t give any back story again oh well”

No. Nope. Uh uh. Mdzs is GRAPHIC in the depictions of how wen chao was tortured and he gets SIGNIFICANTLY more busted in the books. Wen chao dies looking HEALTHY and PUT TOGETHER in the untamed compared to mdzs.

That scene had me regretting ever wanting to know more about what wwx did to wen chao
