Poor Cenric, I never get his hair right. Anyways it’s disability pride month and Cen has a condition called MCAP (megalencephaly-capillary, if you want to know what to google). Part of that is he has 11 fingers and a port wine stain on his face. For fear of sounding too clinical I’m not going to go into the medical details — I often get a little over passionate. In TUZ, disability pride extremely important, our motto is everyone deserves a hero”.
Initially my plan was to draw/paint a character relevant to disability pride month every day of July. Like all best laid plans, though, that didn’t happen.
I did still use easyposer for general layout of this drawing. My art esteem has been pretty bad lately so I’m not super confident without those training wheels, so to speak.
I recently learned that May 12th is fibromyalgia awareness day, so I wanted to share an oc of mine (from tuz of course) who has fibromyalgia (let me know if that’s the wrong way to say it). Her name is Judith and she is a librarian.

Slowed down time lapse painting of Flavian, the elapsed time was about 3 hours and 10 minutes, for a faster version and other time lapses check out our Instagram deaddeerproductions_official

Admin K did a v cute portrait of Eda that I just had to color! The second painting is one of my own, using easy poser to get some details blocked in initially.
Eda is an oc of mine who dates back to around 2012, though originally she had teal hair, was not albino, and was for a fantasy story rather than sci fi.
I wanted to share her for autism acceptance month, and it seemed fitting to paint her stimming. Flappy hands are happy hands!
@pocuspeonies thank you for letting me draw your girl with mine! Pocus definitely inspired me when it came to designing my character Miranda, really letting that sparkle come out! Miranda is a bit mischievous, and would be very interested in Pocus’ flowers, but it’s all in good fun! She’ll give them back... Eventually
Here is Lili, who is a deafblind autistic girl, with the power to read minds and see the future. Needless to say, these powers can be a little overwhelming for such a young child, along with handling the, how shall we say, awkward split between her mom and dad. But Lili manages to roll with the punches, and remains a pretty bubbly kid in spite of it, spending her time practicing ballet and playing with her pet isopods.
Life has been stressful these past couple of days, and I’m worried I won’t be able to complete this project before the end of April. But I’m trying to tell myself that even if I don’t it’s okay, and that there is no expiration date on appreciating folks with autism.
