K-lin and her Ghost Nix were almost taken out by a hive wizard on Titan, (one of those wizards that drained guardian's light in the Savathun's song strike) she now has some gnarly scarring on the back of her neck (where the wizard had grabbed her)

I don't really have a story behind this. Other than these two having grown really close and more and more often they kinda crash after exhausting missions. There is something very calming and comforting being in his presence, something that took K-Lin quite by surprise the first time she noticed the feeling, and it has taken a bit to get used to the idea.

It's been a long while since she felt this kind of comfort around someone. Anyone for that matter. She never knew just how much she had actually craved it since Cayde.

Yeah so after that first mission of Season of Arrivals I've just had this hc that whenever the Darkness possess Ghost it hurts (this hc is also heavily fueled by Nolan North's line delivery in that mission)

And for my first comic... I think it came out pretty well.

The words of K-Lin’s possessed Ghost echoed through her mind. “In the Light, there is only weakness. In the Light, there is only failure. In the Light, there is only death.” Their words felt like an icy fist closing around her mind and squeezing. The mentioning of Cayde, the fact that they implied that the Light had abandoned him, had left him for dead, boiled her blood. When the darkness took a form, one that looked like her, K-Lin was unable to move, unable to punch that sick creature in the face, unable to stop the Darkness from reaching into her mind and shake her world.

This was one amazing but terrifying mission and one frigging amazing cutscene!! I was channeling Osiris’s “AND GIVE ME BACK MY GHOST” throughout the entire mission.
