He loves to be close with you, so of course he would be happy to do something as intimate as cuddling. He does look forward to the day he can settle down with you and live a normal life. But until Muzan is still alive and demons still walk this earth, that won’t happen until he has to retire.

It would be a simple “Let’s break up”. If you questioned him, he would give a straightforward explanation about this decision. Then leave. Either that, or he would leave a note in your estate and stop visiting. You’d have to seek him out for further questioning. Either way, Tanjiro most likely noticed how down you were and after learning what happened, convinced muichiro to come back.

Now, Mui elaborates on his explanation in a more heartfelt way, making clear he loved and cherished you, and that this is for the best. He bids you farewell, and this second explanation definitely gave you more closure then the first.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Truthfully, he doesn’t think about it a lot. He loves you dearly but he’s also fine staying with the

“partner” or “boyfriend” title. Marriage isn’t that special to him. If he does choose to marry you though, it wouldn’t be quickly- probably a good couple of years later. (Unless you initiate it, of course) He is a bit worried about commitment, but being a capable demon slayer definitely helps.

It would really suck if he started dating a regular girl only for her to die one random night because some low level demon came crawling into her house 💀

He can be a little dense sometimes and say offensive things unintentionally, and he might have a hard time understanding why you’re mad because of something he said.

I don’t think it’s exactly easy to make him jealous, but it’s not hard either… I'd say it's in the middle.

I mean, we saw how he treated Kotetsu- I don’t think he’s particularly nicer around them.

Sometimes he’s passive aggressive with other people, but he has more patience with you.

Still, stupid behavior will irritate him. Especially if it’s in a dangerous situation and you’re supposed to be high ranking.

It goes against what he believes, but it’s such a hard choice, and ultimately it's you.

He’ll feel bad afterwards, but he needs you. He hates seeing you hurt in any way.

He doesn’t want to be protected. He doesn’t think he needs to be. He’s strong, he’s capable, he’s gone through and seen a bunch of shit, don’t worry about him.

Just hold him in your arms, kiss him and tell him you won’t ever leave. That’s all the security he needs.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, and everyday tasks?)

Not much effort, I admit… He’s very laid back, and as I described before, dates with him aren’t extravagant or overly romantic. It’s sweet and relaxing, taking comfort in each other's presence. 

It’s not too uncommon for him to bring you gifts; he’ll see something cute, think of you and buy it. This is spontaneous, he never really has thoughts like “Today, I’m going to buy something nice for y/n”. He enjoys cooking, cleaning, and doing tasks in general alongside you. He does want to help you, and he wants to be near you, so it's perfect. But anniversaries? Unless you mention it, I don’t think he’d realize it came up. And that goes for other special occasions as well, like your birthday.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Probably the fact he sometimes zones out during important conversations. 

You have to snap him out of it.

He might also zone out while you’re lecturing him about something, which is really irritating.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Not at all. He barely thinks about things like that. He has more important stuff to worry about.

He knows his time is valuable, while he’s concerned about his appearance, lives are been lost. It’s a waste of time.

I held his hand as he led me through the night.

The air was chilly and I could hear the faint chirping of crickets in the background. 

His grip on me was firm but gentle, and he kept his gaze forward. 

I smiled warmly as I watched him, the way his long, silky black hair glided behind him in the wind.

He took time out of his busy life to stargaze with me, so I couldn’t help the butterflies in my stomach as I pondered why.

I’d been friends with him for such a long time, it wasn’t uncommon for him to do something like this… But I still felt incredibly special.

He never paid attention to other girls, or anyone, actually.

He’s always been so forgetful…

“What do you see…?” He stayed silent a moment before responding, his hand on his chin thoughtfully.

“An artist. Someone who sees beauty in everything. Someone pure, with a smile that radiates warmth. You’re strong and hardworking, cheerful and captivating. You’re understanding and kind, showing respect to everyone… even those who don’t deserve it.”

He ended it in an annoyed tone before continuing.

“Everything about you is so beautiful, your skin, your eyes, your lips,”

He eyed them as he spoke that last word in a way that made me tense up.

“The stars above us can’t compare to you, Y/N.”

He kept almost the same factual expression, the only indication that he was embarrassed was the light pink hue in his cheeks.

I don’t know if time slowed down or if I was just staring at him for a weirdly long amount of time, that he didn’t seem to mind, but I couldn’t take my eyes off of him.

I think a part of me was expecting him to just turn away and act as if nothing just happened, but he didn’t. 

He was serious.

I almost wanted to cry, and I didn’t know why. But the deep happiness in my chest was undeniable, and I didn’t even mean to but it just came out;

“Muichiro… Can I kiss you?”

I asked him, begging with my whole heart that he wasn’t just being friendly and that the speech meant nothing.

I realized what I said but I didn’t take it back.

His eyes widened and his blush darkened, but he simply replied,

It was my first kiss. I didn’t know how exactly to go about this, but I awkwardly scooted nearer until I was right in front of him.

I gathered my courage to lean forward, insecurities suddenly popping up.
