I've drawn her quite a bit, but here's another! her wings are fake btw spiders dont have wings. she gets around by shooting webs spiderman style and pretends she is flying. godtiers are literal stage costumes in bugstuck btw they're just silly.

thank you!! im glad my works makes you happy :D i dislike how flat the characters can be in cannon, i think he needs have more positive characteristics. he's a super shallow characterture from a stupid fucking era that aged like milk. really disappointing, theres even a lot of interesting things that couldve been done with him, it's such a missed shot. i have a bunch more vantas requests im gonna be sending out soon, so you'll get to see a lot more over the next few weeks. :D

I only just organized my asks and started on making a fresh batch of doodles yesterday, catching up on the old asks. I took some time off to make some more complex stuff, im using some of them to answer RQs but I wanted to work on more time consuming things. Finished em like a week or two ago. I get home on the 1st of next month, I’ll probably attend to editing my blog and making new accounts then. And working—I think one of my irl friends might’ve gotten me a job and that’s sooo AAAAA!!

thank you this is really sweet!! gosh, as for birds, i cant chose between 2. my favorite cute bird is the chickadee. im from maine so chickadees have a special place in my heart. while i also love ravens and crows, the turkey vulture is also soooo special to me. they look way more stunning in person than in photos, i got to see one at a sanctuary and i'm obsessed with how social, shy and gentle they are. their faces are such a stunning balance between red, white and black.

This lore info was intially deleted but requested to be shared. Here it is! BEFORUS exists in this au, containing the teen versions of the dancestors seen in the comic. The Condesce’s rise to power occurred on Alternia, long after BEFORUS was settled and their views around culling shifted; however, both ALTERNIA and BEFORUS share hemocastist wealth distribution and many bioessentialist beliefs. Both also deny Jadebloods reproductive rights. BEFORUS now has a closed-border policies, with the trolls living on it kept ignorant of intergalactic politics and space travel because their empress would hate for any of her subjects to die trying to 'cull' the poor trolls outside of her control. She knows that to save trolls outside her planet, there would be great death. The Condesce's Empire refuses to acknowledge BEFORUS as it completely falls outside of their propaganda around her rise to power coming with the beginning of space travel. There’s also a collection of planets with an inverted hemocaste system that fights against the empire. This is mostly a reference to ‘Be the seadweller lowblood,’ a comic which I loved as a kid—I was talking with a friend recently and it turned out we’d both read it. HAHA. But they still maintain a sort of hemism, just reversed. These territories are united in war against the empire. Probably not going into detail about how any of that works.

In your bugstuck au, you said that lime-bloods have resurfaced on another planet in the Empire. Does this mean that there are other Nursery Worlds in the Empire other than Alternia itself, or does each planet have their own 'Kid Sector' where children are raised before assimilating into adult society?

THANKS for the great question!! Sorry for the long answer but i might have mispoken or changed my headcannons; limebloods have re-emerged in colonies outside The Empire. Propaganda denies the existence of the multiple settlements outside of their domains, but this is untrue. As a result of one of these cultures deconstructing casteism and allowing their Jadebloods freedom to live outside the convents and reproduce, a few young limebloods have hatched!

CAESER and CALIGULA are a pair of planets locked in BINARY ROTATION with each other. These planets were colonized by gold-blooded helmsman revolutionaries. The helmsman and their allies planned and collected all they needed from ALTERNIA and elsewhere settle the planets, then one goldblood sacrificed his life to create a powerful psychic barrier around the planets. He was posthumously declared the GOLDEN EMPEROR. No seadwellers were trusted by the revolutionaries, and as a result no violet or fuschia bloods live there. The smaller of the two planets, CAESER, has a massive megastructure city created by combining several grounded ships. This structure has three tiers: below the earth are huge caverns with trolls aged 1-6 sweeps and their lusus, acting as a nursery layer that keeps them safe from older trolls. In the center of the structure is a giant institution for trolls aged 6-9 sweeps, including dorms for them to live, divided by bloodcolor. They're moved up more quickly than on Alternia due to lusus underpopulation, and are allowed to visit their lusus and their sibling once a month (a lusus's next charge is considered a trolls sibling.) At the top is a palace where psychic-gifted goldbloods live separate from all other hemotypes and raise their heirs. Adult trolls migrate to the larger planet CALIGULA unless invited to stay at the school as instructors. The planet is otherwise dominated by fields and two seas, with the birthing caverns and mothergrub hidden somewhere beneath the fields.

The GOLD RULE binary system, following the teachings of the sufferer as whispered among helmsmen, abolished the hemocaste system; but many beliefs about bioessentialism of blood colors remain. Trolls are referred to as warmbloods and coolbloods, as opposed to being ranked, and are somewhat permitted to seek their own callings in life. The dorms house trolls by blood color, which is intended to keep warmbloods that are prey-imitating safe from predator-imitating coldbloods. Class schedules are also determined by blood color, with trolls needing to apply for classes outside of their schedule if they’re interested. For example, Floria, a petal mantis mimic and purpleblood, really keeps his head down to stay in his painting classes he adores. His scythes are wrapped with linen to keep them from intimidating warmbloods. Otherwise, most his assigned classes are physical and combat-based. Some of his fellow purplebloods disrespect his interests and most warmbloods he shares classes with ignore him. While the hierarchical system has been abolished, struggles remain.

this fucking delights me im so glad my comics comedy ressonates with you :) my favorite mspfa is probably turning bees into slightly better bees. much of the art is missing now and it isnt quiiite as good as i thought when i was a kid, but it holds a special place in my heart. as for modern work i like tgcg's comics a ton, the dialogue and character analysis is great. ill try to keep delivering on the comedy!! ehehe

thats such a vibe. do you think they will twist like a long bug like a mayfly into a pretzel shape and bake it. i think they would. gotta mayfly festival when thousands of the little freaks are coming out of the water for two days and being consumed en masse. grab em, twist em and bake em and they're crunchy, gooey on the inside, and delicious. the heads are the best part

i dont have a trollsona. i suppose melosa would be the closest thing to a self-insert, but shes jade and lol. IM A SCORPIO!!! HAHAHA. i should totally make a cerulean trollsona though, itd be fun. nobody ever expects a cute+chill scorpio but me and one of my irl buddies have the exact same birthday and we both find the streotypes around 'the evil sign' hilarious given how like. peaced out we are as people.

ALSO also, (sorry for spamming your inbox) but are there any mutant trolls that not only have off-spectrum blood colours, but also mimic insect species that are not represented by the caste system, like ants and termites or mosquitos?

The insect a blood color mimics is not absolute: for example, a jade might resemble an ant, hornet, or cicada! The listed variations are simply what I've drawn so far and what is most common. As for mutant trolls, while some fanworks experiment with blood colors coming in shades creating hundreds of blood colors, I like Hiveswap's adherence to 13 colors (the original 11, lime+mutant red.) Mutations in bugstuck are usually physical or psiionic. If I do draw, say, two jadebloods, and I don't use the exact same hexcode for their blood color, consider it artistic license or a mistake.

Blood colors are correlated by the species being mimicked, and usually caused by diet-most the bioessentialism around castes is fiction. Warmbloods are just as aggressive and easily angered as coolbloods, but are far more likely to be punished for acting on those impulses. Bee-mimic yellowbloods are genetically closely related to beetle-mimic bluebloods than fly-mimic rustbloods. Spider and Scorpion mimics have their own evolutionary branch are more closely related to some seadwellers than literally the rest of landwellers. Blood color was decided by nature and chance, the caste system is ultimately a bunch of bullshit.

Also, i forgot to ask this, but since you said that in bugstuck, trolls get lusii by tricking animals into thinking that that's their own young, does that mean that all of their lusii are now bugs instead of their canon lusii?

Not really? The animals that the trolls mimic and the lusii they attract are usually different. In cases like Vriska, they're the same. It's sorta like how the rove beetle or cuckoo bird don't really look perfectly like the animals they parasitize, it's more important that the pheremones are correct and the grub stages are accurate. Many grub forms of lusii and trolls look similar. It's worth mentioning that trolls and lusii have a more symbiotic relationship than earthen nest parasites, with trolls historically helping lusii raise their own young. Many lusii species find troll babies and children cute or appealing even without the pheremone response--like how domestic animals have an inherently different relationship with humans than wild animals do. It's odd that a lusus can recognize that a troll is child and will stay a child far longer than their own young and can for some reason accept that. For example, many mammals young will grow old enough to survive on their own in 3-6 months, but a cat can recognize an 8 year old 'child' is still a 'child.' In other words, the lusii may have the trolls aid for the 3-6 months it takes to raise their own young every few years, and will also be looking out for their troll child all this time.
