Izuku??? HORIKOSHI??????
And it’s not Izuku’s usual empty, lifeless black holes we see often. We can see the iris.. and the MASSIVE PUPIL INSIDE. 😭 HORIKOSHI KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING CAREFULLY DRAWING HIS EYE!

I wanna know the idea for the kamishin fic 👀
the main reason i havent written this is bc i don’t know if it’s a story people would want to read
okay so i dont know if i’m going to write it yet but the basic premise is:
one night, 19 year old shinsou happens to wander into a club where kaminari’s band is playing. he immediately recognizes him and hesitates, hanging around in the back, but eventually goes up to him to talk to him. he quickly realizes that at 19, neither of them are heroes anymore--kaminari is doing small gigs with a band like this and shinsou is living at home, with aizawa trying to push him to go to college or at least take some classes. shinsou won’t say why he quit being a hero but kaminari suspects that something either happened or he quit for reasons similar to kaminari. he offers up his own reason to shinsou, that being that after the plf war, the media became 100 times more vicious and he ended up not being able to take the criticism thrown his way for what happens when he overworks himself.
their conversation is broken up by aizawa, who’s been looking for shinsou. shinsou bascially says that he knew this would happen and kinda groans about it but doesn’t fight it. kaminari expects aizawa to be pissed at one or both of them but he seems more worried than anything and shinsou mentions feeling dizzy and headache-y and kaminari starts to suspect that something’s up with him--shinsou seems a little different. not quite like himself and more scatterbrained and forgetful. aizawa apologizes to kaminari, but looks at him like he’s asurprised to find him here, too, and the two of them leave.
kaminari’s secret is that he’s gone vigilante and later that week, just when he’s wondering about shinsou, he finds him in costume in the same area he is, meaning that he’s gone vigilante, too. he mentions sneaking out of his house and that aizawa has no idea (he thinks) that he’s turned into a vigilante. he vaguely mentions aizawa being very protective over him and how he has been since shinsou moved in a couple months ago, which surprises kaminari since like everyone else, he’d been living with him for years. and as it turns out, shinsou moving in with aizawa coincides exactly with him quitting hero work. something clearly happened and shinsou is hiding it.
the story is about shinsou and kaminari both trying to find their way in the hero world again and shinsou trying to move on after his incident, which all he’ll ever tell kaminari is “an injury that prevents him from doing hero work” and figure out who he is again. a lot of it was supposed to deal with shinsou sorting out his own brain issues leftover from the head trauma that caused him to have to quit, which i was dealing with for a long long time after my surgery and am still dealing with and trying to figure out how to function again in a world where he can’t follow his dreams.
#tbi shinsou my belove#i would like to read this for sure#but every deaf mic fic where a character is chonically ill makes me sob uncontrolably lol#in a good way#shinkami#i think for a long time i felt like my chronic illness makes me a burden on my loved ones#so i never really wanted a partner bc i didnt want to be reliant on them#bc things will only get worse for me physically#and who wants to grow old with that you know?

"I wish you would write a fic where..." Shinsou and Kaminari interact, i love them. Maybe Kaminari is taking Shinsou to a cat cafe for their first date??? Cause he knows shinsou loves cats?? or maybe shinsou takes him to a record shop? idk either of those would be a blessing
“Where are we going, exactly?”
Denki doesn’t stop, holding tight onto Shinsou’s hand as he leads him through the crowd, the two of them weaving between people. Even with the multitude of people just getting out of school or off of work, Denki knows exactly where he’s going and as Shinsou asks for the fifth time where he’s bringing him, Denki has to bite back revealing his surprise too early.
So he looks behind him, watching Shinsou stumble between people as Denki pulls him through the crowd, and he grins bright at him and shoots him a wink. “You’ll see! I told you; it’s a surprise. I’m not gonna ruin it.”
That last part is more for Denki than it is for Shinsou. He won’t ruin the surprise, he tells himself. It’s their first date and Denki has the perfect trick up his sleeve. He’s been planning this for months. He knows the way from the school like the back of his hand. Shinsou will be so blown away by Denki’s wonderful date idea that he’ll probably fall in love with him right on the spot.
He’s thought of everything. He knows exactly how to get there. He knows exactly what food to order. He’s gone there and gotten lunch just for himself so he’ll know exactly what to expect. He even has a secret bag of cat treats tucked into the pocket of his jacket. It’s all perfect. He’s planned for everything and he can’t wait to see the look on Shinsou’s face when he realizes where Denki is taking him.
For now, though, Shinsou just frowns at him and raises an eyebrow. He keeps letting Denki pull him along, though. It’s fine if he’s skeptical–that’ll just make the surprise that much better. Denki hasn’t disappoint Shinsou yet and he definitely won’t start now.
“I promise you’ll love it,” Denki tells him, leading Shinsou through the crowd of people making their way home. Shinsou doesn’t respond, but he follows Denki, and that’s really all he wants.

BNHA 365 Thoughts
Execution issues aside, I think this chapter shows that jumping onto rash, overly dramatic conclusions at the end of each (very short) chapter is counter-productive.
We can spend weeks arguing about Bakugou being a “jobber”, and then learn weeks later that his attack wasn’t reckless and stupid, but rather it did blaze that path he said he would.
Even if it came in a different moment than what he originally planned.
He rattled ShigAFO and the fused identities are starting to come apart at the seams.
The themes are also laid out. The Symbol of Victory is broken child, sacrificed for the sins and omissions of the past generation and there is no path to victory unless they heal and bring back that broken child who seems beyond hope. The pro-heroes have changed, because now their biggest ultimate moves are unleashed not to suppress the villain, but to save the child.

I had a thought about 2nd and Yoichi and their parallel with bkdk...the more I think about them the more romantic they seem..Yoichi and 2nd were the first OFA users. 2nd changed OFA. So If 2nd was the reason the vestiges realm was created.. it’s possible that it happened because 2nd wanted to be with Yoichi after he died..

He couldn’t stand the separation. Much like how Izuku won’t be able to stand being separated from Katsuki... and that love and 2nds emotions created that space. The OFA realm for Yoichi to stick around and stay by his side even after his death. Nana calls the vestiges space romantic. So it could foreshadow that the realm itself was created for romantic reasons. Because Yoichi and 2nd loved each other. And OFA reacted to their feelings and allowed them to stay together. That’s what Izuku and Katsuki have now and why AFO is terrified. Because the bond of two hearts evolved OFA.

Remember how OFA reacts to feelings. Izuku has no control of his feelings and OFA reacts to it negatively. But if he had full control of his heart and feelings, OFA would submit to him, help him.. 2nd had full control of his heart and OFA helped him in return.
Katsuki has that full control. We see him think about Izuku, embrace him..embrace his feelings..and somehow, it evolved OFA again. Once Izuku accepts his feelings, OFA is going to save Katsuki’s life in return..the way it allowed 2nd and Yoichi to stay together years ago. Only this time, it’s more powerful and it may be able to do more than just allow their souls to stay together.

Just wanna put it out there that I enjoy Horikoshi's twist in this chapter.
The heroes are doing right by Bakugo after they failed him in the beginning.
He's just a student, and a shining light for the future of heroes, why WOULDN'T the heroes that are closest to him do whatever they need to make sure he survives?
They are HEROES, sacrifice is part of that job, and Edgeshot is doing what he should as a hero who is fighting in the middle of, what will eventually be a world war it seems, to make sure they have a chance at winning.
Bakugo was the only one to strike some sort of fear in ShigAfO. His will power and strength reminded that fucker of the 2nd, who was the original person that took Yoichi from him and started the crusade to put an end to him.
Bakugo is NECESSARY, I don't give a shit what anyone thinks, this story can't finish properly without Bakugo back in the fight.
Do I think this is a perfect solution and is going to work immediately?
Nope.
I think Deku is going to show up to what seems like a lifeless Bakugo and carnage everywhere, and he's going to start to lose it.
I think BJ will inform Deku that Bakugo isn't totally dead but isn't waking up, and Deku will do what he needs to get Bakugo on his feet again, and they'll finish the fight together.

Shimura Tenko: Origin
just look at this scene:
“you should be allmight then”. ten-chan played with them even though they dont have friends. looks like tenko was always kind to people who are abandoned or outsider or people like that. he was always that kind of person who is kind to EVERYONE. and now look at shigaraki, he gave LoV members a place they belongs. he is still nice. he is a hero even though he is a villain. its amazing how he can be so kind even after all that tragedy. i think this is his origin and its still out there and it will be always out there. i think. maybe mikkun and tomo-chan are alive and they can meet again, hopefully.
(as long as, shigaraki survives and gets happy ending in the end, i am ok with it)

there is something so poetic about bakugou's heart of all things exploding. pairing that with how his last conscious thought is about deku, it's almost like he's realized the helpless emotional situation he's in regarding deku and his heart couldn't keep up AKA DYING OF HEARTBREAK LMAAAOOOOOOO

What do you think about what happened in 362? Any theories?
I actually do!
The first thing I need to say it's that I'm really happy Bakugo joined the fight against Shiggy-AFO, because I wanted him to fight along with Deku. Bakugo after all is like a second protagonist in bnha. He has shared the road with Deku right since the beginning, so every time one of them changes or grows, the other does to. It wouldn't be a real end without them both risking their absolute everything to win.
If you guys remember, I also predicted Bakugo joining the fight because originally, Horikoshi had planned the end of Heroes Rising to be the end of bnha. For those who don't know or don't remember, in Heroes Rising Bakugo and Deku share OFA in the final fight to defeat the enemy together. They were also in a precarious situation, with both their lives hanging by a thread.
So what's my theory about bnha 362?
Bakugo in this fight reminded me a lot of the fight of Rock Lee and Gaara lol. The whole fighting while still unconscious, the way he moved, the whole destroying himself in an attempt to win... But what caught my attention was the constant use of sparks or little lights. I know it represents Bakugo's quirk, but if you put it together with the fact he was seeing All Might as he appears in his vestige mode, and if you put it along with the comparison between Bakugo and the second vestige...
I think somehow Bakugo is gonna get saved by OFA. Maybe not in the way we could expect, but I'm confident this is not the end for Bakugo.
In bnha, death is also synonymous to redemption or change. For example, Tenko and Tomura, Touya and Dabi, Shirakumo and Kurogiri, Endeavor and Young Enji... If a character has been somehow wrong or bad before, or if a character has suffered and been beaten up by life, a near death experience could be the switch between an old version and a new one. It also applies to return to the old version: Shirakumo awakening inside Kurogiri, Dabi going back to Touya, Tenko awakening inside Tomura once AFO possessed him...
Normally, the people who die in bnha are on their most definitive version. I don't think that's the case with Bakugo. His story with Deku is not over yet. Also, not many main characters die in bnha (or maybe not main character has ever die in bnha?).
My point is: Horikoshi is building up the final fight correctly. There's tension, readers are scared or tense, things are bad and getting even worst. We need the greatest conflict yet in other to solve it with the best resolution. This is what iw going to turn the UA kids into legends, into the best heroes in the world.
And even if OFA doesn't play a part in saving Bakugo (improbable, but okay), there are many other solutions. His heart stopped, and what? There's still time and chances. It's okay if many characters are losing hope, that's a gopd narrative. The question is: whst glorious tactic is ahead of this? What amazing action awaits for us?
