To everyone else, he looks a little wonky and bland. Not outrageously ugly, but definitely not someone you'd find immediately attractive.

He isn't ugly hot either. Just a weird lanky dude. A mid minus, you may say.

But to Sirius he is the hottest person alive. Because he loves him.

And if you love someone, their imperfections become beauty in your eyes. If you love someone, you also fall in love with every little detail of their face because it gives you this familiar warmth and feeling of home. And now you can't take your eyes off of them and you wish you could crawl inside their bones to be forever close, forever one.

And that is the true reason Sirius wants to jump him.

peter decorated remus’ first cane (a kinda crappy metal one) with stickers and doodles, which made remus smile every time he saw them. the boys commissioned a lovely handmade wooden one for remus for his birthday a few years after. sirius learnt woodworking solely to be able to repair/make canes for remus. james bought him some good quality finger splints because of his arthritis, and continues to replace them as needed, or buy him pretty ones for events. the boys have supported and always will support remus!!!

lying on the floor of their porch, fireflies flying all over them. a beer in one hand, the other wrapped in a familiar grip. it's too hot, and they're both too sweaty, but they don't mind.

they laugh and they kiss, and take cold showers together before going to bed. they eat cold turkey sandwiches, have ice cream from the store on the corner, and play cards until late at night.

there's no war here. just them, falling in love and spiraling in the heat of sunny days, barely muffled laughter in each other's mouths, the smell of sunscreen and night swims.

it's all about the taste of cherry coke on sirius' lips, the calloused hands of remus pressing him against the wall of some alley after drinks at the local pub, the colorful shorts they both wear to the pool. it's about the shitty fan sirius bought for them that keeps making funny sounds in their living room. it's the sticky popsicle hands grabbing each other's faces and necks, and the old radio that plays the same music every night.

au where sirius did some modelling for stock photos in his early twenties when money was tight after getting disowned by his family.

several years later, remus is working a boring government job, and one day while searching for stock photos to add to a powerpoint, he has his breath taken away by the gorgeous man in some of the stock photos he finds. he starts using the model's photos in his presentations as often as he dares (but not so often as to be weird, just whenever it makes sense....even though his coworkers start to notice that it's the same handsome dude in all his presentations).

well, one day, representatives from a growing nonprofit are coming into the office where remus works to try and secure more funding. remus is asked to join the meeting to take notes. and who does he find leading the group from the nonprofit?

the handsome stock photo model, there in the flesh!!

remus's coworkers recognize him too and almost piss themselves but everyone has to remain professional and remus wants to die. and sirius is confused about why the cute guy taking notes looks like he's about the throw up whenever sirius looks at him.

I know that the marauders fandom woke up some day and decided that Pandora was going to have the same vibe/energy personality as her daughter Luna but I really think we lost a great potential for a different type of character. Like have you considered that maybe Luna's personality was an extension of his father's so Pandora could have been a radical? I like to headcanon Pandora as non binary-masc. A self-confident witch that knows they're the best of their class and getting a bit annoyed because some redhead Gryffindor is getting better marks than her and "why on earth is she so beautiful?", "omg is that glitter on her eyes???" "Merlin pants that red lipstick looks so good on her". One day they are pairing for a potions test because his annoying friend Snape got hit by a prank and "Oh dear Morgana, she's even prettier up close"

James (panicking because Sirius knows he's a close friend to Regulus but doesn't know they started dating a few weeks ago): y-yeah?

Sirius: why didn't you tell me you were dating someone? Who's the chick?

James: actually it's a boy

Sirius (supportive bestie in denial): Jamie! Why didn't you tell us? I'm so happy for you man!

James: well, he's someone close to you and we didn't know how you would react...

Sirius (gay in denial): wait. It's not Remus isn't it? Please tell me it's not Remus.

James: ... No, it's not Remus.

Sirius: you sure it's not Remus? Because I don't think that's a good idea mate. You know, it could end up pretty bad and affect the group...

James: ... It's Regulus.

Sirius: oh thank god.

Regulus (who's been suspicious of Sirius' feelings since they were 12): I told you.

wolfstar keeping the secret of their fresh new relationship and thinking they're so discreet about it. spy masters. sneaking out like it's their thing. like no one could ever suspect anything.

but actually, no.

after the first time they made out, they both got to the dorm with grins so stupid, cheeks so flushed, and hands brushing so obviously that peter and james immediately knew. they didn't say anything, ofc. they waited until both of them were in bed and james paid five galleons to pete, who'd won their bet about when they'd give in.

the others found out soon too. but everyone just let them keep going. out of fun. just to see how far they'd go.

it was funny to watch them squirm, trying to come up with excuses about why remus' neck was suddenly full of love bites, or why sirius' bed seemed empty every night, or even why remus was wearing his shirt backwards and why they both accidentally traded shoes after some 'study session' at the library.

Don't remove Lily from the marauders group please please please.

I feel like an old soul because I really love the marauders era fics where Lily is there all the time. And not just Lily. Marlene is "one more of the boys" as well as Lily's and Mary's best friend. But Lily is just. My pretty feminist queer queen in love with James Pottah who braids Sirius' hair and reads poetry with Remus and cooks chocolate cookies with Peter. Like she's been there before being James' partner and she'll be there even if jily didn't happen.

Please don't remove my girl from her right spot in the marauders lives.

Okay but Wolfstar accidentally getting married in the Muggle world and just… not addressing it??

Like. They’re in their early twenties. They’re on the run, kind of. Living in a flat above a used bookshop. Sharing groceries and toothbrushes and trauma like it’s normal. They’ve been not-dating for six years now.

And one night Sirius goes, “We should get fake married for tax reasons.”

Remus: “We don’t pay taxes.”

Sirius: “Yeah, but like. If we did.”

Anyway, two weeks later they’re drunk in Brighton and find one of those weird little wedding chapels. A Muggle one. With plastic flowers and a bored officiant named Trish who’s very into the idea of “helping young love bloom.”

They think it’s a joke.

They sign the papers.

They kiss (??)

They go home.

And then they just… never talk about it again.

Remus starts calling Sirius “husband” in a sarcastic voice that gets less sarcastic over time. Sirius changes Remus’s contact in his phone to “Moony ♡ (legally mine).”

Remus starts doing Sirius’s laundry without complaining. Sirius starts grocery shopping with a list. They argue about curtains like an old married couple but still won’t admit that they are one.

Until one day Sirius is like:

“So technically, we're married.”

And Remus, without looking up from his book, just goes:

“Well, I haven’t divorced you yet.”

Which is not a no.

Which is, in fact, a very loaded not-no.

Which leads to Sirius spiraling for the next four days because he’s realizing he’s been in love with Remus Lupin since he was sixteen and accidentally marrying him was somehow the least gay thing he’s ever done.

Meanwhile Remus is also spiraling because Sirius keeps making tea just the way he likes it and calling it “husband duties” and he doesn’t think his heart can take it.

Eventually, someone (probably James) is like “wait… are you two actually married?”

And both of them, in perfect sync, completely deadpan:

“…Yeah.”

And then go back to whatever they were doing like that’s not earth-shattering news.

Because they’re the kind of idiots who fall in love, get married, and still don’t believe they’re loved.

I really really want to read tcoptp but people on tiktok are killing my mood by saying that Remus should have ended with any other character than Sirius and I just don't know if everyone has this deep obsession with romantic love that there's no more room for platonic love when other ocs are in the narrative or that they just don't like Sirius so could someone please tell me if it's worth it to read it?

I know it's silly but wolfstar is my comfort ship and I don't care about the length or the slow burn just, Idk people can't stop complaining and I don't understand the fuss over a piece of work that's for free (like go and read a published book and criticise it but why are you complaining lol)
