Claire: Maybe we could do something simple then. Maybe... we could go to the aquarium? I haven't been yet.

Claire: I.. You do? Sorry, I... Not used to this. I think you should definitely celebrate. However you like.

Kael: Of course.

Kael: I like fish. We can certainly do the aquarium and then get dinner afterwards? What do you think?

Kael: Yes, yes I do. Maybe I'll settle down with some birthday cake...if you don't hate me or find me weird after our date you can join me unless you find something better to do. I'm a rather dull guy

No it would have hurt quite a bit but luckily the kid made some human movements. 

I would’ve done the exact same thing if I was on your shoes. Good thing you didn’t kick them though. A parent would be really unhappy about that. Or the child could try to kick you in the nuts which doesn’t sound really pleasant.

I understand. I once saw a child dressed at Chuckie. I almost kicked them before I realized it was a child. 

I guess Annabelle came to life in that encounter. I swear the person, looked like her. And if they didn’t, then they were pretty darn close to being a clown. Not that I’m judging or anything. I just don’t like movie characters coming to life. It’s kinda of creepy.

Claire: Yeah, I hope so. I know two agents I'll have great fun using Karma on if I ever see them again.

Claire: Yeah, I heard that. Or... if you see a movie, make sure you have a meal too. Because you get the experience of talking to them throughout the meal, then the movie is like.. reflective time? I don't know. I clearly know nothing.

Claire: Perfect. It's a date. Well, I mean, it's up to you but.. We could do something. Or, I mean, we can invite other people to. Or you can. It's your birthday, you get to choose who's there. What do you like to do? Is drinking your kind of thing?

Kael: I have a shared sentiment if I am completely honest. I brought karma down on a lot of people on my way here.

Kael: I've heard that it's a good way to like not have to talk but then you can talk about the movie. I just... I don't want a buffer when I want to know you.

Kael: Outstanding. I find you very cute. Umm I don't really do anything anymore. This will be the first year in a while that I've been around people.

Did you have an encounter with an interesting looking person?

Y’know if you wanted to look like Annabelle you should’ve just looked up a behind the scene of the movie on google. I mean, it would save you the time you spent coming up with that look. I’m sorry. I don’t mean to be rude but you just look really funny right now. And since it’s not exactly Halloween I don’t think looking like that was your goal at all.

Who would you say is the most attractive male on the island?

I suppose I would have to say Samuel Evans. If you go by Da Vinci’s physical perfection test he does seem to fit that mold. 

I mean, when you take the time to do the math it’s clearly him.

Claire: Yeah... They really do.

Claire: I do! Well, I mean, that's what dates are for, right? For getting to know people better in a nice setting?

Claire: Friday works perfectly. Oh, it is?! I didn't know that! Well, are you doing anything for your birthday? That's way more excuse to celebrate than Valentines day in my opinion.

Kael: Karma will get all of them.

Kael: Right! And movie dates are like a bad idea because you can't talk because it's rude. But yes, I like to get to know you better in a nice setting.

Kael: That's great! Friday it is. Yeah it is, it's pretty exciting. Umm I don't have anything planned, no. I may watch the walking dead but who knows.

“Oh? Thank you. I never really noticed my accent but I’m from Oakland, California.” He smiled widely in her direction then ran his fingers over his hair nervously, “It’s really beautiful over there.” Kael rested his hands on the top of the desk. “Essex? I’ve always wanted to go to London. The virus started to spread and there were a change in plans that got in the way.” He smiled at her then he sat down on stool while looking at her. She was beautiful and his heart pounded in his chest just looking at her. 

Kael exhaled slowly, “So, I was thinking that maybe we could just go over things and we can discuss it all before starting. I..I just want you to be as comfortable as possible. I know that labs have a bad rap now but this is a very safe place. I won’t let anything bad happen to you.” He smiled, tilting his head to the side with his hair falling into his face. 

Experiment

Claire shuffled into the room a little awkwardly when he poked his head out, giving a wave that was just as awkward and a smile to match. She’d try and put her nerves down to the fact she was about to get injured and drink some kind of serum that could potential heal her up again, but if she was perfectly honest that was only half of it. The other half had a lot to do with the man complimenting her accept from across the room, looking adorable and definitey cute in person.

“Hello.” She returned, smiling a little shyly. “Uh.. thank.. thank you. So is.. yours. Where are you from?” She asked, the words coming out a little stuttered and rushed before she caught herself finally and took a breath. She took a pause just to be sure before adding on a “I’m from Essex… next to London” before shutting the door behind her and moving into the room a little more.

Yeah...I just don’t want to make a fool of myself. Much easier said than done.

Well, yeah, I guess.. Maybe find out her favorite things. Do something related to that- for like, a date or something.

Claire: It's not that sad. I'm 21 and I've never been on a date and considering a few other facts about myself, it's... not a fact I'm proud of. It was just kinda hard going on dates back in England and then at the.. Agency places.

Claire: I like your lab. Not sure on many others.

Claire: Sorry, back on topic... the date. Uh, when? And... do you want me to come to you, or?

Kael: The agency makes a lot of things very difficult.

Kael: You do? Thank you. I like the lab. But I...I would really like to know you better.

Kael: Yes. The date. I don't know when. Maybe Friday? Does Friday work for you? My birthday is on Sunday and it's also Valentines day and I don't to be presumptuous that you would want to spend that day with me.
