Thought I'd catch all your attention with a title all in caps. 

Next Monday (AEST), I will be doing an activity check, and any character that hasn't been active in at least 7 days will be reopened. Yes, this applies to everyone. I do love that we got a lot of interest at the start, but there are a few characters where nothing at all has been posted. It is partially my fault, since I'm really busy at the moment, but I want to give everyone a chance. Which means those characters have a week to get up and running.

In other things, I'm starting another batch of charries, so send in your requests for both characters and faceclaims?

I've actually just gotten an app for him, anon. In any case, I'm inclined to only change an FC if there was someone definitely going to pick that character up. Just makes for less work. We'd still love for you to apply though if there's someone else that catches your eye <3

Hey guys. This one is mostly for the current roleplayers, so feel free to ignore it. Anyway, I thought I'd quickly mention taking up extra characters. I don't know if any of you want to or are going to, but it's there on the off chance you do. If you've already been accepted before with another character, then to put it simply, I'm totally happy to just give you that character, so send in a message asking if you can take them up and it should be all good. On the off chance that we get two apps, I'll probably have to prioritize newcomers, but I just thought I'd let you know my ideas.

Glados || Forty || Former Slytherin || Muggle Studies Professor || Open

"Look at you, soaring through the air like an eagle… piloting a blimp."

Biography:

If one needed a professional to write a book on how to be passive-aggressive, Glados would be the one to ask. She has the strange ability to make the slightest normal action or gesture seem like a veiled threat, and she makes regular use of that skill. Her classes are full of quiet terror, and she seems to run a ‘muggle observation’ class rather than muggle studies. Glados loves to watch people, with eyes like a hawk and able to read people like books, and she’d make a good psychologist if she was a little nicer. She’s not nice, though, and so she gets on with few people and can tolerate even fewer. Glados is very intelligent, and uses this to her advantage when she occasionally needs to manipulate people to get what she wants, and if she does really want something, the woman will stop at nothing to get it. Sometimes they get on, and sometimes they don’t, but to any outsider, Chell and Glados have a very strage relationship. On one hand, Glados regularly tries to undermine the former, just as Chell will often do back, but Glados has odd, almost motherly attitude towards Chell, and the younger girl would miss her if anything were to actually happen.

Garrosh Hellscream || Seventeen || Slytherin || Pureblood || Open

"There are some that would call us barbarians... the 'mongrel house' of Hogwarts. They are ignorant and blind to reality."

Biography:

It’s entirely possible that you will never meet another person quite as prejudiced as Garrosh. The son of a wealthy businessman who changed his surname to make his pureblood title sound more impressive, he was raised in a way that made him very negative. Halfbloods? He hates them. Muggleborns? He hates them too. Blood traitors? The very worst. Anyone who isn’t a Slytherin? Don’t even go there. The guy has serious anger management issues, and often takes them out on the people who get on his bad side, which isn’t exactly hard to do. Many would call Garrosh a brute, and so he is, surprisingly, low in the Slytherin hierarchy, which is full of manipulative and cunning tricksters. This means that he often has to sidle up to some of the students higher in this hierarchy, and is sometimes little more than a bodyguard. However, if you can get him in exactly the right situation, Garrosh is an amazing leader. The people under him may not like the way he does things, but he will get them done. 

Personality:

+A good leader, strong-willed, gets things done

Liara T'Soni || Seventeen || Ravenclaw || Pureblood || Open

"If we're going to try this, I need to know you're always coming back."

Biography:

Quiet and bookish, Liara would probably live in the library if she could. She almost does anyway, and can regularly be found in one of the many little corners, surrounded by books and scrolls. This especially goes for the types of muggle novels known as 'science fiction'- she loves anything like that, though keeps her obsession largely a secret. For a Ravenclaw, who are generally cold and unfriendly, Liara is very loyal, and will never betray the people she trusts. It's possible that she will get seriously hurt one day when someone betrays that trust, but at least it hasn't happened yet. The girl is happy and optimistic, and while she won't talk unnecessarily, always has something good to say. Liara hates being by herself, so sometimes she'll end up being ignored when she tags along with other people, and therefore often gets lonely. A dreamer at heart, Liara has very unrealistic expectations of the real world, and finds herself disappointed far too often.

Alexstrasza Eonar || Sixteen || Hufflepuff || Muggleborn || Open

"I did what I had to. You gave me no alternative."

Biography: 

Although she may be muggleborn and part of the usually very placid Hufflepuff house, Alexstrasza, or Alex, is easily one of the most powerful women in Hogwarts. She doesn't create fear, and rarely shows her temper, but simply has a way with people that tends to endear them to her. Serene in the utmost, Alex won't ever overreact, and stays calm in almost every situation. In fact, sometimes she under-reacts, downplaying situations that are actually much worse. With the belief that everyone deserves an equal chance, no matter who they are, she will act the same towards Slytherins and Gryffindors alike. That is, unless one manages to make enough of an impression to get on her bad side. In that case, it might be better for you to watch your back. Her loyalty to the people she cares about means that she will go to any lengths to keep them safe. Alexstrasza's quiet, kind nature tends to draw a lot of people to her, and she makes friends as easily as her sister, Ysera, falls asleep. These people will often do anything for the girl, just as she would for them, and creates her real power in the school.

Claire 'Lightning' Farron || Seventeen || Ravenclaw || Halfblood || Open

"Control your emotions. If you want to survive, you forget about sympathy. How can I explain? Think of it like a strategy. Focus on your ultimate goal and shut out everything else. Still your mind. Move on instinct. Let doubt take over, and despair will cripple you."

Biography:

Well-known as the resident badass of the school, Lightning developed her reputation over years of distancing herself from others. This has mostly developed from her extreme protectiveness of the few people she cares for, and by extension, her sister, Serah. Everything she's seen in her life has led her to believe that being too close to people only makes it harder to protect them when the time comes. Because of this, she is intentionally very cold so that she can't be close to those people. Don't take it in the wrong way- Claire still loves them, but will never reveal it. Very smart and a skilled tactician, Lightning is determined to become an auror once she leaves Hogwarts, seeing that as the best way to continue doing what she already does. The girl is extremely independent, never asking for outside help and keeping her emotions tightly controlled. When Claire gets an idea in her head, she can be very single-minded, and won't give up, which means that she does sometimes miss details. Her nickname, Lightning, while also something she chose herself, partially comes from the incredible speed at which she can fire off spells, subsequently making her one of the best duelers in the school.

Caithe Sylvari || Seventeen || Gryffindor || Pureblood || Open

"Stop grieving for fools. They let love kill them."

Biography:

Caithe is an extremely odd girl, and it’s not much of a secret. Many people have questioned why exactly she’s a Gryffindor, the answer to that question still being determined. Calm and cryptic, it can be very hard to get a straight answer out of her, yet they do tend to be accurate and strangely prophetic. If she had a title, it would be something like the ‘Master of Whispers’- Caithe knows everything going on at the school, big or small. Yet again, no-one really knows how she gets all this information, but it may have something to do with the way she’s perfected every sort of stealth enchantment. The girl has maps of every secret passage, and can pass virtually unseen if she wants. Her knowledge of the school’s secrets means that she regularly gets caught up in some shady scenarios, but Caithe is an excellent negotiator, and so can get herself out of these situations with little effort. As she puts it, she’s never been afraid of looking into the darkness from the light. Again, cryptic, but you’re not going to get a much better answer from Caithe. She is an integral part of the group known as ‘Destiny’s Edge,’ but what exactly they do is relatively unknown to everyone else. The one other person she is known to have some sort of relationship with is Faolain, but it’s a well-kept secret that they used to be closer than sisters. In any case, though, the girl is a shadow and a wraith, and is definitely not the kind of person to be trifled with.

Anduin Wrynn || Seventeen || Gryffindor || Pureblood || Open

"There's more to this land than meets the eye."

Biography:

His Royal Highness Prince Anduin Wrynn is rather unlike how you’d ever expect the prince of England to be. For one, he is extremely curious, always trying to understand how things work and unravel the mysteries of the world. For another, the fame barely affects Anduin, and he is quite level-headed and calm. Although he tends to put on a show for the public, he doesn’t have a particularly good relationship with his father, King Varian. The King can be affectionate, but Anduin has become wary of his occasional violent, almost barbarian outbursts. On top of this, Varian wants nothing more than for his son to join the army, as many royals do, when Anduin really just wants to become a healer. This has created a quiet and ever-widening rift between them. Anduin is compassionate and kind, but can be very headstrong and doesn’t like the royal life and the fame he gets. He’ll often avoid his bodyguards and this regularly gets him into trouble. Not that he’ll learn, of course, but one can always hope.

Serah Farron || Fifteen || Ravenclaw || Halfblood || Open

"Well, if it's too much to deal with, face it later. Sometimes things seems easier when you look at them from a distance, you know?"

Biography:

As the younger sister of the famous Lightning, Serah Farron is a surprisingly mature young girl. Serious and calm, there is no-one she trusts more than her sister, who became her guardian after their parents died a few years ago. Even so, Serah worries a lot about the well-being of Claire and her other friends, no matter that they're mostly older and should really be the ones worrying about her. Although she isn't the kind of person to be overprotective, Serah will always try her best to cheer up her friends, as she cares for them deeply. Serah's trust can be a hard thing to gain, and because of that, she doesn't make a whole lot of new friends, preferring to stick with the ones she already knows. This does mostly protect her from having her innocence used against her, but also means that she can seem cold and detached. A straight-O student, Serah is intelligent and works hard, her favorite subject being the rather unpopular History of Magic.
