Sonicized Luxray - The Poke-Mobian Project -1/???

Ok, so, this is a brand new project that I am going to be starting that I am dubbing "The Poke-Mobian Project". And basically I'm going to be taking certain Pokemon characters (namely ones that I really like) and drawing them in Sonic style, purely just for fun and entertainment purposes.

Also, since Luxray here is one of favorite Pokemon (I'd probably consider him among my top five), I wanted to start with him since his design is just so cool. And oh my goodness you guys, I freaking love him!!!! I am so freaking happy with how his Mobian design turned out!

One thing I want to point out though so that there's no confusion is that while I'm going about this project, I'm going to try not to characterize the Poke-Mobians that I'll be drawing. And by that I mean I'm going to try to keep to their original Pokemon designs as much as possible and not make them into my own Sonicized, Pokemon oc. I just want to draw them as they are, but just in Sonic form, just to see how they'll look. XD

Nera the Hedgehog

Sorry it's been a little while since I last uploaded somethin' new. This one took me a little longer to finish than usual. But, better late than never I s'pose

Anyways, this girl here is pretty much an anti-version of my main oc, Shade (like how Scourge is an anti-version of Sonic). And while I'm mentioning Scourge, Nera here actually lives on Scourge's world, Moebius. (And fun fact, Scourge himself - in my semi-AU - actually lives on Icaria, my fictional world for that AU XD). Not quite sure how I'll fit her into the story yet, but I'm leaning towards doin' somethin' tragic for her.

Pretty happy with the way her re-design turned out. Might tweak it a little down the road if I ever get around to drawing her again. But for now, I'm happy with her design as it is.

Zamean the Fox

Brother to both Axel the Fox and Phenik the Fox, the re-draw of this guy completes my Icarian trio of brothers :D

Really happy with the way his design turned out. Especially his sho!es man. Frig, I would wear those shoes. In his original design, he had shoes designed pretty much like Shadow's skate shoes. But, since that's already done officially, I didn't want to give Zamean here a copy of Shadow's shoes. But I still sorta wanted to keep the "skate" part of the shoe, so I tried out something completely new, and frick, it worked out beautifully!

I don't have a fun fact to share with this guy this time. Sorry guys :P

Angel Wing Sonic

Just a quick little drawing before I continue with re-drawing all of my ocs :P No special meaning or importance behind this drawing, just wanted to do a little something for fun before I carried on with my main mission. Although, I was actually inspired for this drawing by fanart piece that I have saved on my phone of sonic with angel wings, and I wanted to do something similar in my own style. And this is the end result. Not one of my best or finest pieces, I'll admit. But I had fun drawing it at least

Phenik the Flame Fox

So, it occured to me that i haven't yet uploaded this guy on my Tumblr page despite having drawn him a couple years ago now XD. But, better late than never, I suppose.

I do apologize, the art style in this drawing is a little bit outdated from where I'm at now with my art. But despite that and looking at his design right here, I'm still quite happy with his overall design.

Fun Fact: Phenik is the oldest of three brothers, with another of my ocs, Axel the Fox being one of his younger brothers

Axel the Fox

Oh my goodness you guys, I am loving this guy so freaking much! His re-design after I finished re-drawing him turned even better than I could've hoped for, and I'm just so in love with this guy! And then when I added those stars to his fur as well, it was just ahhh. I don't even know what else to say about him except that he's so friggin' cool and I just absolutely adore everything about him!

Fun Fact: Axel here has the power to both control and manipulate the stars. But, as the stars only come out at night (as we all know, lol), so too do Axel's powers only emerge at night too

Alassandra "Splatter" the Cat

Guys, ohmygoodness, I was so sure that I would be giving this character up for adoption after I had finished drawing her. I was so certain that I would not want to be keeping her. When I started drawing out the rough sketch of her, I was having so much trouble with the pose just the shape of her body. And when her sketch was done, I have to admit, I hated it so much. I didn't like how her rough sketch had turned out at all. But then as soon I started outlining her, I almost instantly grew attached to her and even thought of some new details that I could add to her design that I hadn't included in her rough sketch. And once I got her inked and all colored in, I just... I couldn't. I couldn't put her up for adoption or give her away because I grew extremely fond of her within the blink of an eye. And so, I kept her, adding yet another character to my ever growing long list of ocs XD

I have finally obtained the GE Werehog plush!!!! I bought a bootleg version of the plush quite a while ago, but have been wanting to get the official version of him for quite some time now, and he finally came in the mail today! And I have to say, I was pretty pleasantly surprised to see just how big he was when I took him out of the packaging 😂 In fact, the official GE Werehog dude is so much bigger than my bootleg Werehog plush that I just had to include a pic of my bootleg boy to show the size difference between them 😂 (I wanted to do a side-by-side to really accentuate their height difference, but plushies generally don't stand very well unsupported, and the GE Werehog was no exception 😝)

I've been wanting this plush for a very long time, so I'm really happy to finally have this guy in my collection!!! 😁

Clash the Cat

I'm pretty happy with the way this guy's re-design turned out. I didn't really change too much on him though since I was pretty bent on keeping him as close as possible to his original design. I think the only thing that I altered on him is the design of his shoes, and even those I didn't mess with very much.

Fun Fact: Clash here has some very specific colors on him all throughout his design. And I'll give 5 points to anyone who can tell me what those colors are representative of

Grace Rivira the Hedgefox

Frick, I really should post drawings like, as soon as I finish them, because now, posting this one a day and a half later I have no idea what to say about this one XD

I will say though that I am happy with the way her new design turned out. Updated her outfit to give it a fresh, new look and it definitely looks better than what I had given her originally. So I guess, all in all, I'm happy with her new look all around

Obsidian the Burning Tiger

Ooooooh, this guy is so freaking cool!!!! Agggh, I just love him so much!! And really glad I decided to keep him instead of putting him up for adoption, since he was originally on that list :P

When I first started sketching him out, I honestly wasn't sure how the different colored streaks in his fur and hair would look. But once I started coloring him him, I don't think they look that bad at all (badass is more like it XD) And the flames on his ears..... oh my word. Those look SO cool!

Xandor the Hedgehog

Ok, I know what you're thinking: This guy looks like Silver. Well, yes he does, because his design was (as you can probably guess) based off of Silver. But since Silver already exists as a Sega character, and since I already have an OC of my own who looks similar to Silver as well, I had to do something different with this guy to make him stand out from both Silver and my OC, Titanium.

And I know he still does look like Silver because of the quills, but I tried to give his head quills a bit of a different look and design so that he wouldn't look exactly like Silver. So, I hope I succeeded in at least making him look like his own character :P

Fun Fact: Xandor here has some pretty high level videogame-esque powers. He can use any spell and summon any magic weapon or magic item from any kind of game. But don't worry, I'll be sure to give some weaknesses to counteract his god-like powers when I write up a bio and backstory for him

I got back one of THE FIRST pieces of Sonic merch that I ever owned during my childhood today!

This exact Tails plush was one of the very first Sonic plushies that I ever owned. And this was before Jakks came into existence and before I even knew what the heck Jazwares was. Since I no longer had him, I have been looking for this guy for a very long time now, and so happy that I was finally able to grab one on eBay for a relatively decent price 😁

And I can't get over how freaking good a condition he came in! I mean, he's so clean and spotless without any stains or missing pieces that he honestly looks like he's brand freaking new!! And I genuinely couldn't be happier with him!!

And on top of getting this Tails plush, I found a small surprise in the box with him 😝 There was this tiny Sonic Prime plush in the box with him that the seller (unexpectedly) threw in for free! So now I've got these little Sonic Prime plushies brothers or something 😂

I have so badly missed having this Jazwares Tails plush in my collection. And so I'm extremely overjoyed to be able to have him with me once again! 😄
