Anyway, this is Lanos Shilnirth, a Triton Warlock. Specifically The Lurker in the Deep Patron. His specific patron is named Kanaloa (a Hawaiian octopus sea goddess) which is worshiped by the Shilnir Cult in which Lanos grew up. His mother was the priestess which meant he was very favored by the people and his patron. He's superstitious by nature and True Neutral. He is only on land to observe and he does not wish to meddle in petty affairs.

Hello!! Just wanted to explain my version of a werewolf really quickly. So, turning into the wolf is about the same, happens once a month but it works more like a menstrual cycle. He'll be a wolf for a little longer than one day and it doesn't always start on the full moon. He's semi-aware of things he's doing while a wolf, and when he wakes up human again it's like trying to recall a dream. But, werewolves aren't usually violent, that's a stereotype usually picked up from wolves that were in fighting pits. In human form, some werewolves will keep certain wolf traits. In Richie's case, he keeps his tail, ears, and longer canines. Anyway, before he transforms there are signs, he usually gets more hungry or will get some muscle cramps. After he transforms though there are some repercussions. His muscles always feel very strained and he has to sleep for about 12 hours after to get rejuvenated. Of course, schools are now forced to accommodate werewolves after the "beast equality act" If you asked Richie he would say he'd rather they not call him a beast. But, now he gets medical leave for his transformation and the day after. Richie is lucky because his wolf form only takes over for 2-3 days where some last a week or more.

A werewolf becomes a werewolf either through genetic transfer (it is a dominant trait so most human/werewolf pairings end in werewolf children). Or when they're bitten by a diseased wolf, which doesn't happen very much nowadays. In Richie's case, his mother was a wolf, he never knew his dad but his uncle, being his mother's brother, knows how to deal with him as a wolf.
