Hey, you blog is amazing, I was wondering if you could write a kai parker imagine sort of in lines with the maroon 5 songs : ANIMALS. Especially 'baby I am preying on you tonight, hunt you down, eat you alive' where kai's sociopathic side is visible, he is kinda chasing the reader, maybe there is kidnapping involved and the reader is kinda hiding from him out of fear and then there are few jumpscares ig? It's kinda vague if you can write something like it would be soo amazing. Thankyouu so muchh.

Summary: Reader has been kidnapped by Kai and is trying to escape. He’s taken her to the empty high school.

You were starting to run out of breath, running from classroom to classroom and even down the hall. Ending up in the girls’ locker room, you hunker down behind lockers. Kai’s quiet singing echoed through the room.

“Baby I’m preying on you tonight,

Hunt you down, eat you alive..”

SLAM. You jumped, covering your mouth with a squeal. His footsteps drew closer and the sociopath peeked at you around the corner. 

“Just like animals

Animals

Like animals-mals”

Kai cackled as you jumped to your feet and ran out the door. You could hear him now belting the song.

“Maybe you think that you can hide

I can smell your fear for miles”

You could hear his converse squeaking on the linoleum as he chased after you. CRASH. His magic tipped lockers right in front of you, you ran into them full force and collapsed with a bloody shin. 

“Just like animals

Animals”

Kai grabbed your hair and yanked your head up to look at him.

Like animals-mals.

Kai grinned wickedly, “Ad somnum”

You blacked out, slumping against the cool metal.

Overview !

This story is based off a prompt I read on @deity-prompts and on fear street pt 2 “1978” . It’s set in 1990, in an alternate tvd universe where the reader and Kai both return to a summer camp they both went to as children to work as counsellors of opposite camps. I like the idea of Kai sneaking into the reader’s camp and getting closer to each other. There will be practically no tvd canons involved in this and won’t follow tvd storyline at all. no tvd characters are included apart from kai and his family. i’m going off script and disregarding the prison world and mystic falls plot for this one. This is a reader insert but I tend to use Dahlia Hughes as a placeholder because I don’t like writing with Y/N in the place of character names. I won’t include specific physical descriptions of the Reader character, so you are free to imagine her appearance as you wish.
