People saying 2002 Watson is too grumpy… honestly, can not relate.
In a time where Watson was mostly portrayed as a dumb, slightly overweight fellow, this Watson was a breath of fresh air
And I wouldn’t be surprised if someone tells me that Hart‘s Watson at least loosely inspired Law!Watson. They both have the same „fuck you, Holmes. We are married btw! I will go and save the day now.“-attitude

Oh really?! Then Germans have a really different drinking culture… and we are basically know for our beer.
I think in Germany day drinking is also common but only if there is a reason for it and if you do it in a restaurant f.e. It is a hot summer, you had a long walk in the park and decide to pair your lunch with a glass of beer.
But just walking into a pub in the middle of the day? Nah… people would assume you have an alcohol problem
Is it just me or does John has an alcohol problem that will be addressed soon?

Wait! People do not like The hound of the Baskervilles 2002" because Holmes SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER nearly dies and has to be saved by Watson? Sorry, the general audience is weird, i really can not relate. That moment makes the movies special, shows how lost a Holmes is without his Watson. This movie understood a few core points of teh relationship so damn well... idk what people are complaining about.

You know what suprised me? That the hound in BBC Sherlock was made 2012, so ten years after The hound of the Baskervilles 2002... and looked equally shitty. Like there was no improvment there. 10 years later

Everybody has their own special Holmes and Watson, and mine is the hound of the baskervilles (2002) (more specifically Ian Hart’s Watson). The movie itself has typically 2000s vibes, overly grimy and bloody (and bit boring) also the cgi hound was laughable, but I love the dynamics between the detective and the doctor. That wasn’t my first Holmes series but the movie has special place in my heart :D

Why are we never talking about "The hound of the Baskervilles 2002"?! This movie is amazing!
A Watson focused movied, Watson setting boundries, calling Holmes out, Holmes being completly paralized when Watson is shot, not be able to move a muscle even though the killer is running away (hello three Garridebs), Holmes trying to aplogize to Watson by asking him out on a date?!
This might be one of my favorite Watson?! Any fans here?

The dry humor of „The hound of the Baskerville 2002“ is amazing
„Not Heaven nor hell will stop me from stepping into Baskerville hall“ „sounds lovely.“
*young straight people, super horny for each other, take each others hands* „and we get rid of all earthly thoughts“
„come on, Watson, we have a nice stroll in the moor“ *cut to rain, rain, wind, rain and mist* „isn’t that lovely?“
Honestly, the first half of the movie is amazing! Hope the second half will good as well

Yup, starting the Hound of Baskerville 2002 with Holmes & Watson sharing a hot Turkish bath, both being more or less naked, was absolutely necessary 😌👌

Interesting writing choice that in „Romancing Mr Bridgerton“ Colin only tells Benedict and Anthony that he doesn’t want to marry Pen, but in the show he tells it actually every important men in high society

Dreamed about trans Geralt this night, and he had a boyfriend. They kissed, wrapped in a trans pride flag. A good dream!

We can agree that every adaptation so far has done Mrs Smith dirty, but I think there is another aspect that is always ignored. Her friendship with Captain Wentworth. I would do everything to see them interacting on screen. They are probably so unbelievably cute together!
In general, adaptations always ignoring the finale chapter AFTER Wentworth proposed to Anne…. It’s a crime.
It is such an interesting chapter! Wentworth helping Mrs Smith to get her money back, Mrs Clay going to London with Mr. Elliot, Wentworth slowly forgiving Lady Russel and them becoming friends, Mary being super excited to see Anne marrying Wentworth because she „helped to set the wedding up“.
So many interesting and new dynamics. At least worth an after credit scene. Yeah I am still mad at Netflix, don’t add me

Still thinking about this one situation in university where I had a study colleague, with whom I got along very well. I think I also had a tiny crush on him (but that’s just a side note)
So one day I asked him if he wants to watch the newest marvel movie with me. And he instantly said: „no sorry, I can’t. I have a girlfriend“
And I am still thinking about this a lot. Because after that I really got careful asking boys to hang out. Because I realized we live in a society where it is nearly impossible for a girl to hang out with a boy, without people smelling some hidden motives
Which is sad… I loved to hang out with boys, and everytime i now know one where I go: „wow, he is cool, I want him as my friend!“
I have not a single clue how to ask: „wanna grab a coffee after work?“ without the man saying: „sorry, I have a girlfriend.“
Maybe that’s dumb…. But this thought is in my head a lot
