Honestly I always saw tags as the "add-on" section. Like, for example. The 'main' post (reblog or original) is about X thing. I roughly put everything in I wanted to say, but I have like one or two minor additions or clarifications that would be really clunky if I put it in the 'main' one. So instead, I put them in the tags.

Or alternativley when I reblog something and have something to say/add, but it's too short or specific or I don't wanna put it as actual text in my reblog- I just put it in the tags.

I had no idea there was ever a time where reblogs were considered private??? And thank god I never encountered anything like OP described. They're 100% right.

u know I really think a tumblr rule of thumb should be 'don't say anything in a reblog you wouldn't say directly to the OP of the post' bcos like. by and large whatever you say in your reblog you are, in fact, saying directly to the OP.

This is a half baked fic idea for anyone to adopt who wants to but....

An AU where something managed to go wrong between the transitions of one cycle to the next, and instead of Phainon ending up with the memories of the last Flame Reaver, all the chrysos heirs but Phainon end up with them.

This means that: A) There's no Flame Reaver, since this time Phainon couldn't inherit the memories and thus properly react to the reset time. (Yes, unfortunately, he died. Sorry.)

and B) pretty much everyone remembers not only the various times Phainon killed them, but also every single inch of pain all of that caused him. Aswell as his reasoning for all of this.

How do they react? No idea. Decently fucked up though, considering they now know everything that went down and also everything Phainon had to go through. ONTOP of their already bad backstories.

Atleast Phainon's only concern now is why his friends are acting so strange, instead of crazy convoluted time travel stuff. But also could you guys please stop crying? And hugging me? Pretty please??? It's kinda hard to move like this yk-

Crack fic where Mydei, after a hard knock to the head, ends up with a pretty bad case of amnesia. And while people are catching him up to speed with everything that happened in his life and who he even is, they unfortunatly forget to properly explain what his relationship with Phainon is.

Now combine this with some ancient kremnoan courting ritual that includes regular competitions between the two parties inorder to "prove their strenght to eachother", and suddenly you have a Mydei convienced he and Phainon are courting. After he clocks the fact that apperantly they also bathe together and he trusted Phainon enough to know about his only weakspot, the assumption gets promoted from "okay, we're courting" to "ah, so we're engaged already!"

Mind you Mydei does not voice this out loud. He thinks it's silly having to state the obvious and feels kinda embarrased about thinking they were "only" courting at first. His poor fiancè is obviously far too stressed and worried about him already anyways, so better to not make it worse by revealing he forgot their relationship. Phainon is kind of annoying at times admittedly, and does have a lot of silly ideas- but also Mydei never met someone so perfectly matched in strenght. Their fights and competitions are exhilerating, not to mention the warm buzz he feels whenever he sees him. And ontop of all of that, his fiancè is pretty too. So clearly, the Mydei with his memories made the right choice. And calling off the engament now due to something as small as a few lost memories would be cruel to the both of them.

On and before I forget- neither Phainon nor anyone else has any idea that Mydei has come to the conclusion that he and Phainon are engaged.

Ok but hear me out, Phaidei childhood friends fantasy AU.

Crown Prince Mydeimos who, after an attempt on his life by his father which ended with the death of his mother, had to flee his home and palace in the dead of night. Despite the best efforts of the few knights loyal to his mother over his father, a king who saw himself and his power threatened by the potential of his own heir, the young prince was unable to come out unscathed. During an accident during the frantic chase, Mydei lost his footing and fell into a river. His protectors unable to retrieve the boy from the roaring tides and his father's men happy to leave him to drown.

Mydei is declared dead by the king, a vicious assassination that took both the queen and the princes' lives being blamed and immediately used to wage war against some chosen enemy. Little do they know however that Mydei hadn't died at all, instead surviving barely by sheer strenght of his will as the river carries him along to the very outskirts of Castrum Kremnos. Into a small, unimportant farming village called Aedes Elysiae.

The villagers are ofcourse reasonably stressed out about a half dead, completely drenched kid getting washed up on their shore. But they take him in and nurse him to health either way, mainly because letting the poor boy die like this would be unreasonably cruel. Mydei on his part does not take kindly to what his father did, and swears revenge on the guy for the death of his mother and the attempt on his life. But he's also keenly aware that right now, there's no way he can go up against him. And Mydei also very much does not trust the villagers. Who knows? If they find out who he is, what will stop them from turning him in? Or finishing the job themselves?

He does not want to find that out at all, but also he's kind of a dumb kid. So when the villagers ask Mydei who he is and how he ended up in that river, he just kind of lies and pretends to have amnesia. Luckily good enough to have people believe him. Unfortunatly also good enough to have no plausible reason to deny the village's offer for him to stay there.

Fuck.

Alright, so. Mydei is kinda stuck now for atleast a while. But it could be worse, right? I mean, the people turn out to be genuinley kind atleast. And due to the village being somewhere in the nowhere, Mydei atleast won't have to worry about being found. He gets fed and looked after, and while life now is a far cry from the luxury he once knew- it's kind of nice in its own way. Sure, he can't spar like he could in the past, and yeah the farm work is beneath him logically. But it's also nice to just...be a kid for once. No one expects anything of him really, ignoring the occasional helping hand. People praise him even! They call him strong, and hard-working and give him sweet fruits and tasty bread as thank yous!

Ofcourse he WILL reclaim his rightful throne one day, but...it can't hurt to stay a little while. Mydei reasons it's also good for a king to know his people, and what better way to get to know them than living amongst them?

Honestly, the only slight issue with this life is the kind of annoying son of the woman who took him in. Phainon's his name. And he's incredibly annoying and pathetic and far too sunny for Mydei. And he's definitely only almost as strong as Mydei himself, because the last time they sparred he managed to pin Phainon down first. And it doesn't matter that the other managed to pick more fruits yesterday when they were asked to. It doesn't, Mydei swears! But also, he'll definitely beat him to it the next time!

And no Cyrene, he does nOT like him! Stop saying that. He and Phainon are rivals, uhu! They are equals Mydei guesses, but- uh, he's still better at fighting! He only needs to train more. Yeah, yeah. And he can do it with Phainon! He's the only one around for it anyways, but Mydei doesn't care! He's just being charitable to a poor village boy.

The years pass by like that, in a comfortable blur of harvesting and training. Mydei grows from a boy into a teen and then into a man. He becomes an odd mix between friends and rivals with Phainon, and after what maybe was some overly complicated scheme concoted by Cyrene with the help of the whole village... they become lovers. Which doesn't mean Mydei will go easy on him during their sparring session, mind you.

It is only years after he arrived in Aedes Elysiae when the village receives news that the king has doubled the tribute required of them. For an ongoing new war he says. And it spells disaster. The village stands before starvation for the next winter, the tribute was never small but they always had enough to survive! Now they are looking at death for most, if not all of them. What are they to do!? Phainon immediately wants to run off and ask the king what the hell he's thinking.

But Mydei asks, no- begs him otherwise.

This is his fault, Mydei knows. He allowed himself to forget his purpose, his roots. Too swept up in the live he had built himself Aedes Elysiae. Hell- no one even knows about his heritage here! Not even Phainon! For all they know, he still has no memory of his life before waking up here. Mydei would love to stay, to live his life out to its end here alongside Phainon- but he knows he can't. And the fact that his father would do something so cruel, condemn a whole village of their people to starve and die for his war...he cannot let that stand. He's become far more powerful, despite never receiving proper training, and knows what needs to be done.

Not to mention that he also couldn't bear the thought of Phainon getting himself killed in an attempt against his father. Especially since it was Mydei who had forgotten his place.

So instead, he tells the village he'll figure it out. That he will go to confront the king. They ask him not to, ofcourse. Mydei knows they are scared for him, that they do not want him to be hurt. But he has to, there's no choice. Phainon was the hardest to convince, first about letting Mydei go. Then about not going with him. It took nearly three days, and him having to manipulate Phainon by asking him to protect Aedes Elysiae in his absence. But Mydei manages.

He sets out at the start of the sowing season, which means he has until the beginning of winter to overcome his father in fair battle and take the throne. For his people, for Aedes Elysiae and for Phainon.

And, well.... maybe Mydei is also a little bit excited. He wonders, perhaps, what faces the villagers would make when he returns as rightful king. And especially what face Phainon would make when he'd ask to court him. Officially. With all the honours and luxuries that come with being courted by the king of Castrum Kremnos.

No but that scene in the story where Mydei reminds Phainon that "Deliverer" is a derogatory name he calls him, only for Phainon to say that he knows and that he (Mydei) only meant it sincerely in the first cycle?

No idea who exactly came up with it, but do you guys know that fan theory that the Saja boys (besides Jinu) were actually a human boy band who made a deal with either Gwi-ma or Jinu himself to become famous? And in exchange for that, they gave their souls. Their becoming the Saja boys we know fulfilling that deal, and the reason they act so...dead off stage being that they are literally soulless?

Okay so basically, imagine an AU where after the end of the movie and the Honmoon being restored, the Saja boys are also freed from their deal. I.e, they turn back into humans. On stage. Infront of everyone. Which...uh, that's weird. And unexpected. And also no one has any idea how to react. Least of all Huntrix.

Because, like- okay first off? Wtf. What the fuck. Why are the Saja boys (-Jinu) still here? Why aren't they gone? They are pretty sure they poofed them/sent them back to the demon realm. Also why do they look human? Do- Do we like, do something now??? We can't just like, kill them now, right? Not infront of the fans, right? No, deffinitly not. But they are also unconcious and the whole thing is one hell of a mess.

The exact plot details aren't figured out for the AU yet, but somehow the girls manage to play it cool. And also explain away why the Saja boys suddenly ended up unconscious at their feet for no reason with a freak and tragic accident. Yes, they are very sad that their "surprise colab" ended so badly. We are very sorry and would like to express our best wishes. Why are we dragging the Saja boys away you ask? Uh- Uhm....medical help? Yeah, medical help. To express our deep condolences and responsibility for our colleagues, we have taken it upon ourselves to aid our fellow band. Just how good guys do. Please don't question it.

Yeahhhhhh no this is a total mess. Rumi is still kind of reeling for Jinu and Mira is loudly proclaiming her opinion (being that we should kill them now.) It was up for honest debate until they woke up. Which basically sees Huntrix confronted with a bunch of equally confused, equally as helpless, normal humans who have no idea what's going on. Because no one does.

Rumi decides it is best to wait, for now. They are not going to kill humans. Even if the humans used to be...demons? Presumably? They try asking them about stuff, but the Saja boys really can't remember anything from their time as the Saja boys. And don't really act like before either, considering their first reaction to properly meeting them is a weird mix of reverence, excitement and shyness you'd expect from your average fans.

For now it is decided to just keep an eye on them, and also keep them away from everyone else. Which ends up with them moving the Saja Boys in with them after explaining away their lack of memories with amnesia after said freak accident. Why did their appearance change? Uhhhh....a lot of makeup used before this??? The reason for moving in with them....we feel guilty about their lost memories and wanna help them up on their feet.

Yeahhhhh our girls are kind of bullshitting themselves through this whole afair while trying to find out wtf happened. Meanwhile the now human Saja boys are finding themselves in what feels like a Wattpad fanfiction. Imagine waking up one day and you are apparently a famous kpop boy band after years of irrelevancy. And ontop of that you now ALSO room with THE Huntrix!!! And you also met some other guy who became your leader and is now missing???? And you forgot ALL OF IT?????

To say the guys are a bit...taken aback would be the underestimation of the century.
