This man needs therapy, i genuinely don't think he knows how romancing someone works and how to deal with wanting to "have" someone for himself, like obviously he probably knows the basics of it but the way he's trying to flirt with her was probably unfortunately influenced by how people always acted around him

And then he's also trying to rush the romance because he fears he'll lose Maomao or she will be taken away from him

Even as a someone who ship Vanoé with all their being and think that objectively they are the top ship in Vnc (the main focus is their relationship, come on) it bothers me so much when I see people talking shit about vanijeanne and saying things like that their relationship is forced and unnecessary. Unnecessary? There are so many things we wouldn't know about Jeanne and Vanitas without it, so many plots that wouldn't make sense or directly wouldn't exist. Their relationship is so important to show different sides of their personality and personal arcs but not only of them but also of Noé and Domi. I don't know, I just don't understand how anyone can read the manga and not see this

Lately an idea have been living rent free in my head so I decided to share in hopes someone more talented in fanfic writing likes it.

First I do have more ideas related to this one but I will share the one more basic.

I know everyone likes the Tsukiyomi theory but what if we kinda swap it?

Like instead of yato is Hiyori the one Tuskiyomi chooses to be his descent,something like Kamisama hajimemashita(kamisama kiss)like he sees her save Yato and decides she is a good choice

So now Hiyori starts the canon story half goddess instead of half ayakashi,since she is half human she can still kinda work as a worshiper but she is kinda also learning all this God stuff...

The find Yukine and Yato originally want her to get him as shinki but Hiyori refuses cause she now knows Yato really needs a shining,maybe she sees him with nora and ask artound and finds the nora taboo stuff or something like that.

In my headcanon I had a oc for her to be her shinki(it's supposed to transform into a flying horse,think like a Rapidash or Entei in Inuyasha and I was hoping to name them maybe Seiya? Cause also the family name of Hiyori shinki will end with "YA")

I have some more small head canons if someone ends interested.

Non related,related I have also had a very good idea for the typical isekai "oh no I died in modern life and I was reborn as a princess/vilanness in a novel" trope but with Hiyori dying or like just telporting to the time Yato was about to exterminate the "MA" clan,so after Sakura event and basically what would happen if Yato had a worshipers back then but more like in a serious tone.

There is actually some fanfics with Hiyori in that timeline but usually she doesn't know the story,obviously.

Noragami Chapter 108-2 Raws

And here we have the penultimate chapter. The last page confirms the leaks that the next chapter will be the last one, will be 45 pages, will have a color page, and won't come out until 1/6/2024. So, there will be a hiatus for December and the series will end in January.

It's been a fun ride, everyone!

Also, it's my mom's birthday, so despite it being a weekend, the translation will be out at its usual time rather than early since I will still be occupied during the day.

Noragami Chapter 108 Raws

So this chapter did end up being numbered 108 which means 107 was just unexpectedly short. Still no announcement of next month being the end, meaning that the "end of the year" release of Volume 27 would have to be December, which is when I would assume the final chapter would also release.

Next release is 11/6/23.

Noragami Chapter 107-2 Raws

Very short chapter this month, which leads me to believe it's possible that next month may give us a 107-3, and then possibly a long chapter 108 in November for the finale. Again, this is only a guess, but 108 is still a good number for a god-centric series to end on.
