If you look is says chuckie was here

And this means one of two things

One: there was two campers named Chucky, one of their names were spelled chuckie, and one got lost in the floor boards and wasn’t found the other Chuck was in a accident at camp and survived

Two: it’s almost the same as the first but chuckie was at camp before chucky as their body is complete decade and just bones which would take time but I am unaware of how long body’s take to decay and that would be a very incriminating google search. Also David never mentioned anything about a missing camper to the inspectors which if it happened the same year as chucky’s incident he would have

The reason why there’s two different chuck named people is becuase first, they both are spelt different Chucky and chuckie, second David said the camper that was in the accident survived while the other chuck’s skeleton is present and yes David hypothetically COULD have been lying but the inspectors would most likely have access to hospital records and parental say if the kid did die
