I decided to start my preparation for Art Fight with characters that I came up with when I was a preschooler, but then I forgot about them until recently. They didn't really have much of an interesting backstory or lore back then. Most of the characters didn't even have names, except for Jim and Luke, who used to be named Jack. These two cats from the second sheet used to be a duo known as SYM Cats, and they used mobile technologies to fight evil.

When I really got into creating OCs, I remembered about these folks and started thinking about their background. Now, Jim and his friends are a bunch of aliens from the planet where everyone has superpowers. Then, a major disaster happened on this planet, which forced them to wander through space in search of a new home. Jim's little space cruiser had a space warping device that allowed them to travel hundreds and thousands of light years in a matter of seconds. Once, with its help, they found themselves on a planet inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, and on one of its countries, tyranny had reigned for many years.

The country is ruled by a despotic emperor, the Great Dane, who is served by many other animals, including a duo of agents called the Siames. They are two brothers, nicknamed Striker and Roller, and they are not just Siamese cats, but Siamese twins who were separated by removing the leg that connected them. Now Striker has a prosthetic leg in place of his left leg, and Roller has a prosthetic leg in place of his right one.

I imagine this concept being realized as a comic book series or an action animated series in the vein of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Teen Titans.

I was working on my South Park fan comic when I received some very tragic news, so I decided to make a follow-up to my cartoon revolution drawing.

You see, while some cartoons have made it, others are still struggling. The worst case is Pibby, whose creator is depressed because his project is not going to be put into production, and so even thinking about Pibby hurts him. So, yeah. If you thought that disrespect towards animators and their work doesn't have consequences, it definitely does.

I curse David Zaslav every day, but for now, this mass hatred is not helping much. Garbage series like Velma still have 2 whole seasons, while some actually good cartoons are getting canceled after just one season. And I really want a person who cares about animation to become the CEO of Warner Brothers. Then we can get new episodes of Infinity Train and Villainous (which I'm waiting for the most), and maybe other canceled animated projects will be revived.

Today is the second anniversary of Tears of the Kingdom, but for some reason, I doodled some characters from my favorite Roblox games instead of drawing something to celebrate that.

Sometimes, when I'm working on my fanfics, my inner voice tells me that I should make art of my OCs, especially of those who have very few drawings. One of them is Alina the Axomander - the character from The EDM Gang that supposed to be my self-insert.

At some point I realised that the G.E.T_X band needs a lore, just like Gorillaz does. So, each member now has a sona, based on their stage personas, and Axomander is also an anthropomorphic hybrid of salamander and axolotl.

A little backtory: Before meeting the band, my no-longer-self-insert was known in a fanfic writing community as Sea Salamander by her Attack on Titan fanfics. When it was her turn to pick up a stage name, she initially wanted to name herself after her writing pseudonym, but she immediately found it too boring, so she came up with this glowing salamander-axolotl hybrid.

I'm so happy to see South Park fandom gradually coming back to life after that announcement of season 27. This show is finally back, after a year long hiatus. And what is happening in the trailer - South Park itself is on fire!

Hmmm... Just like in Hyrule Park. You must remember how Doctor Ruselstein mentioned in the prologue that this small mountain town has its own Great Calamity. So, why not take my designs for the main characters as teenagers and...

It supposed to be a birthday gift, but it took me too long because of the amount of characters and dynamic poses. But when I was about to finish this piece, something amazing happened - Ksenia finally finished her diploma animation and even returned to YouTube after almost 4 years of silence to post it. So, why not to use my new drawing to celebrate this event as well?
