Once again, Campaign Coins outdoing themselves. I personally love the FATE system, and I love props that get players in the mood. If you do too, then seriously get behind this Kickstarter. I want to see those FATE bags dammit!
Fate tokens

Now on Kickstarter, because you can never have enough gaming bling.

My pet rust monster.
This little figure predates the actual D&D rust monster. From a package of Asian “prehistoric animals,” the story goes that Gygax used figures from that bag as in the inspirations for the rust monster, bulette, and other beasties. I keep this guy on my bookshelf as a bit of RPG history.

Creating a sigil
A sigil magick is a symbol that you creat that carries your will. For example in this tutorial the sigil will bring bravery.
1. Write out your intention
"I will be brave"
2. Remove all repeating letters
W R A V
3. Then simplify the letters into basic shapes
\ / \ / I C \ /— \ \ /
4. Then put those letters together and make a symbol from them. Make the symbol one that you feel comfortable with.
— a way to charge your sigil is to have other people look at it, or you can meditate with it, or sleep with it.
-Now from this step, you can do one of many things. Fold it up and bury it, Burn it Rip it to pieces and let the wind carry it off, put it in a river, lake, stream, ect. rip it, set it in melted candle wax, put in witch bottle.

Paranoia High Programmers
Just recieved the book, opened it, read the first 3 pages and immediately the whole game world was blown open. Seriously, if you ever want to GM Paranoia beyond basic troubleshooter missions, you NEED this book. I don't care if it's out of print, rare as a shiny Charizard card and overpriced to hell, you need this book.
Or you can just ask me questions nicely.

I have the D&D 5e Starter Set
And I actually think this edition might prove to be my new favourite to run. I may have to read more changes first, but the advantages/ disadvantages system is so intuitive, and removes a lot of the maths that prevent some people from enjoying the game.

Paranoia ME cards.
I always have trouble in Paranoia, getting players to visualise the colour system, and remembering that the orange teammate actually holds more power than their red asses. My solution? Coloured lanyards, with an ID card.
The pictures portrayed are stock passport photos, greyscaled and brightened. The artwork for the computer and the service groups are taken from the Service Service! book in the Paranoia XP line, I did not create them, just the text and layout.

"You need to beat the CMD by 10, divide by what, and roll a who? Screw this I'm houseruling."
Weird things that DMs know

medieval religious and monarchic hierarchies
square feet the average battalion covers
10 ways to trap a door, or more
how the ecology of mountain ranges are different based on the existence of giants
perfect number of floors for a wizard’s tower
how to nullify a flying carpet
bell curve diagrams for 2, 3 and 4d6
