Senate Bill 686 of the 118th Congress (The Restrict Act)

I’m honestly a bit disappointed here at Tumblr for not talking about this bill more, so I’m going to share what I’ve learned about it with you all

The link above goes to a pdf file going over the entire bill that has only been introduced atm as shown in the image just above from congress.gov.

Now, people only see this as a means to ban Tiktok, but that’s just the mask this truly cruel bill is hiding behind.

To boil it all down, this bill lets the Secretary of Commerce to have the power to ban…basically ANYTHING on the internet.

This includes hardware like video game consoles or Wifi networks as well as software and applications such as VPNs.

It also gives the government the power to monitor, basically everything you do online, private messages, posts on social media, streams, you name it, they can monitor it.

And the punishment for using, say, a VPN to access Tiktok, will result in 20 years in prison with a 1/4 million fine, a full million if you did it on purpose.

Now, I please ask you all to go to your representatives and tell them about how you don’t want this bill to be passed whatsoever. Heck, if you have to, (passively) threaten them with supporting their opponent in the next primary in any way they can. Just remember to be respectful and civil.

If you don’t want to do that, I respect that decision, and I understand that you wouldn’t want to deal with politics. But, I at least ask you to signal boost this post by reblogging it to your own followers and give any other thoughts about this that you might have in the tags or just normally.

I don’t want this lovable hellsite we all call home and made such good friends and memories on to be under the eyes of those pedophilic heathens who can’t seem to even know how to unlock a smartphone.

My wonderful friend @ombreins drew a scene from a south park roleplay of ours. We did a vampire au focused on Pip and Damien, but there was some background Style going on too. Pip and Damien are getting married and after dress fitting they all went to lunch. Kyle went into labor, Butters drove him to the hospital. This scene was in the parking lot while they waited for Stan to arrive.

PLEASE HELP SALLY

Look, I know I don’t post much these days. I don’t know what’s wrong with me either. I have no idea how many of my followers will see this after how long I’ve been gone. But I’ve done posts to help folks out before and I’m back at it again now. 

Sally is a 10 year old medical service dog, and her owners recently discovered she has tumors in her lungs. By this point, her dads just want her to be able to pass away at home with her family, comfortable and happy instead of scared at a vet’s office. But they don’t have the money for the medications needed for that right now, and they need your help. She’s saved the life of her owner many times over the years, and now her dads just want to do right by her when she needs them most.

Every bit helps, so help out a good girl.

New discord server

So if you go far back enough, you’ll find a post about the old overwatch preg server. Unfortunately, that server has long since been abandoned by the server, with only myself as the lone remaining mod. And since I’m not the server owner, there’s a lot that I can’t do even though I’m a mod, like make someone else a mod.

So, I’ve made a new server! Unlike the last one, this one isn’t solely about overwatch (though you can bet your ass there’s still gonna be plenty of ow and mchanzo stuff), and is more about video games in general.

Bestiary Update

I failed to mention before that the bestiary got a major update in creature information.

On top of that, a few new creatures have been added that have come up in the Dungeons and Dragons campaign I did this past year and any that have come up in weekly trivia on the Discord Dragoso server.

Mermay Day 6

Any siren that impregnates a human or another siren causes a rather unusual event to happen. The siren's markings appear on their mate's belly as a means of displaying who sired the eggs/baby growing inside their mate. The markings fade after birth/laying while their bellies return to normal size again.

Although extremely rare, humans and sirens can have children with each other. While egg laying sirens are part of their anatomy as are broodmares, typical reproduction is also possible. Humans impregnating a siren will cause eggs to form and develop before hatching siren brood. A siren impregnating a human will give a human baby with a few siren traits. A human/siren child adapts to water very early in life and also learn siren clicks and trills. Later on in life they develop markings that can be passed off as tattoos.

Sirens are not banished to the ocean. They have an ability to shed their tails and gain use of legs. It's a painful process due to the separation and fusion of bone, so they very rarely go through the change.

Almost all physical features of sirens are based on their parents. The only thing that is environmental influence is their markings. A siren born in warm waters will have bright orange and yellow marking while one born in cold waters will have blue and purple markings. Designs always vary as do location of the markings on their bodies. Shoulders, back, and arms are typical locations.

Broodmares act as incubators for their mate's eggs. Eggs are deposited and fertilized in the broodmare. They are carried for around 3 to 4 months before being laid. Eggs hatch after about 3 and a half months.
