You had brought a box of cookies to the paddock, all homemade, all perfect. Pierre stole one. Not even stole,stole three when you weren't looking. You made a "dramatic" scene, wagging your finger in his face like an angry grandma

Next day? Pierre’s engine gives up mid-race

Everyone laughed

Coincidence. Obviously.

Then came the Monopoly war with Lando

He bankrupted you within an hour. You swore “you’re dead to me until further notice.”

Cute. Funny.

Race day? Lando spins twice and finishes P17

Now people are looking at you in a "different" view

The final straw?

The sim race disaster with Charles. He crashed your car out in the FIRST lap, and you rage-quit with a very theatrical “Charles, I curse you and your stupid Ferrari luck!”

That weekend? Charles DNF’d

Suddenly, half the grid is side eyeing you like you're the paddock’s very own Maleficent

Journalist 1: “YN, people are saying you bring the ‘wrath of the racing gods’ when you’re upset with a driver. Do you believe you’re… cursed?”

YN (deadpan): “I’m not cursed. They’re cursed. There’s a difference.”

Journalist 2 (laughing): “So you admit it?”

YN: “I admit nothing… except that Charles definitely deserved it after crashing me in the sim race. That was personal.”

Hi 👋

I loved the red bull rising SM AU 😊 So I humbly ask if you would write more parts of that? (I saw that you are already working on that🤭)

If you want some ideas

- something about sim racing (i remember when Lando was streaming one time and called all different people to asks for tips from starting at the back), YN could maybe be in a challenge with Lando, but secretly let Max drive and want to see if Lando realise someone else is driving

- a photo challenge with Danny and Lando (with their jpeg accounts) they have to take some specific pictures to win the challenge and everyone is wondering why the three run around the paddock like maniacs with their cameras

- with the new rookies: YN has a bet going on with some drivers to convince the new rookies about something and who ever the rookies believe they win … maybe convince the rookies that if they want that the ice baths are not feeling to cold they always have to bath with a duckie (Oscar and his 3 little ducks popping in my mind) and the rookies are not getting in the ice baths when there is no duckie

- YN just crashing randomly into every food challenge of the other teams and stealing food

- YN playing secret Santa for all of the others drivers and getting them a gift and the drivers try to figure out who got them a gift, YN gives herself a gift too, to distract the drivers

- something about superstitions, YN has a little fight (just something silly like stealing her cookies or crashing in a sim race or winning in a board game against her) with one of the drivers and he doesn’t perform good in the next race, some time later she has a fight with another driver and he doesn’t perform good as well, and since then everyone believes that YN can bring the „wrath“ of the racing gods on whoever driver is on (temporarily) bad terms with her

Lando immediately yelled “rook at the table!” which earned you a round of sarcastic claps. Oscar ever the shy cat,slid bread your way like he was bribing you. Yuki challenged you to a wasabi dare before you even sat down

And then George, ever the diplomat, tried to “politely” ask if you were nervous about your rookie season. You smiled sweetly

“Not really, I mean… statistically Mercedes hasn’t won in a while so I feel pretty safe.”

Cue entire table exploding. Geogre choked on his sparkling water, Lewis slapped the table cackling, and Max nearly spit his wine

By dessert, you had somehow Man to:

Been officially declared “adopted” by Seb, who just popped in because apparently even retirement can’t save him. ( Fernando much??)

Got a lecture from Pierre about hydration after tequila, even tho you aren't aloud to drink

And… exchanged numbers with almost everyone , though you kinda noticed Lewis gave a glare when Lando saved his as “Y/N’s favorite Brit.”

Walking out, Lewis threw an arm around you and said, “Congrats rookie, you survived the Hunger Games. You’re one of us now.” a little dramatic but honestly? For the first time, you believed it

You wanted to believe it, desperately

Stepping back into the HQ felt somehow even more intimidating than the first time. The walls practically hummed with energy and was lined with trophies that glared down at you like "don't fuck it up!"

Max as expected was no help. "Don't worry" he smirked while handing you a red bull," if you crash in the sim, nobody will know... except the few engineers watching you."

You rolled your eyes so hard , you swear you saw your brain. "Thanks, coach."

Your simulator runs were absolutely brutal,not because of the endless laps,but because every time you accidentally clipped a corner, Max leaned against the wall with what you swear was the most annoying commentary.

"Bit deep there"

"Brake earlier"

"Yeah...I could've done that in my sleep..."

You made a promise to yourself then and there that you would try to not strangle your wdc teammate on the first day. Maybe on day three

When your first day came to an end,your brain was fried from data ,the sim and Max's endless chirping

You needed a breather so you went on your phone. You were stunned when your feed was flooded with plenty of fan edits of yourself and max

One silly fan made an edit of Max and you in split screen interview that was captioned with " big bro energy vs little sister energy"

You weren't so sure about the little sister and big bro parts but you appreciated that fans already took interest in you.

As you looked through the comments your heart fluttered at the kind words people left. Of course there were not so kind words,but you knew you shouldn't mind them even though it still hurt.

You knew you deserved the seat that you now have and that nobody should tell you otherwise and you would do everything in your power to prove that you came to win.

You couldn't believe it when Red Bull called you to sign you for them. It felt like a dream, finally being able to live your dream that you've had since you were a little kid.

You always thought about being an F1 driver but never thought it would actually happen. But now it has happened,all your hard work has paid off.

Not to mention being Max's teammate,the guy you've looked up to since you were 9 and when he made his debut.

Walking into the Red Bull HQ for the first time , you had this feeling in your chest , a feeling that made you realise that this wasn't just a dream anymore and it's now your reality.

Max spotted you almost immediately making you even more nervous than you already were

He showed you around the massive building filled with history of the team and explained some of the interesting history

He had a cheeky grin while explaining that made the previous nerves you had slide away.

You finally reached Laurent Mekies's office and bid goodbye to Max and entered the office

Laurent stood up to give you a little handshake before you both sat down and started talking about your contract

You still couldn't believe it. You're now officially an F1 driver for Red Bull racing.

After signing the contract you felt this feeling wash over you that you couldn't describe but it made you feel... amazing

You stayed in the office for a while to talk with Laurent about the expectations that are set for you and the future events

Yn and Andrea Kimi Antonelli shared a love story that seemed straight out of a corny yet captivating Italian romance novel. The type filled with excessive sunlight, an abundance of pasta, and an overwhelming number of “unintentional” instances that seemed oddly intentional

Born just two weeks apart in the heart of Bologna, their cribs were practically set up in the same nursery. Their mothers were best friends, their fathers practically brothers. There were baby photos of them giggling in the bath together, waddling around with matching pacifiers, and throwing spaghetti at each other’s faces before they could even talk. You know, the usual prelude to teenage obsession.

From the time they could walk, Kimi and Yn were a package deal. Kindergarten? Sat next to each other. Elementary school? Shared notebooks, snacks, and secrets. High school? Don’t even try separating them. If one got in trouble, the other was usually sitting next to them, pretending to look innocent (and failing miserably).

Everyone—literally everyone—thought they’d grow up to be like siblings. That was the running joke. “Oh look, the little married couple!” their relatives would tease as toddlers. Except… it wasn’t a joke. Not really.

The truth? Their families were scheming little matchmakers. Crafty Italian mamas and doting papàs had whispered to each other over wine and tiramisu: “They’re going to end up together. We’ll make sure of it.” And oh boy, did they.

They planned joint family vacations—Greece, Sardinia, even a random ski trip to the Alps where only one room mysteriously had heating and oops, Yn and Kimi had to share it. They coordinated school pickups so they’d always walk home together. And birthdays? Always combined. Always cozy. Always ended with Kimi giving Yn the one gift that made every other present irrelevant.

But Yn and Kimi were blissfully unaware of the parental manipulation. As far as they knew, their love story just happened.

By the time they were 15, things shifted. Subtle at first. His glances lingered. Her smile softened around him in a way it didn’t with anyone else. He’d get quiet when she talked to other boys. She’d turn red when he called her “cara mia.” The air between them started humming with something heavier, something electric.

They kissed for the first time on a quiet summer night in Yn’s family backyard—under fairy lights, barefoot, after a too-long look and a too-short moment of silence.

And then? They were inseparable.

Kimi would ride his scooter to her house every morning, just to pick her up even though they had the same ride to school. She’d show up at his karting races with snacks, her voice hoarse from yelling his name. He’d call her his “lucky charm.” She’d tease him about getting sweaty in his racing suit, but secretly loved the way he looked behind the wheel—like her little champion.

They had matching bracelets they never took off. Inside jokes that didn’t even need words. And a playlist they built together that they swore they'd play at their wedding, even if they pretended to joke about it.

They were 18 now, still madly in love, still blissfully unaware that their relationship had been carefully orchestrated by the very people who claimed to be “hands off.” But hey, when you’re that stupidly happy, does it even matter?

Their love was warm summer nights in Bologna. Vespa rides through cobbled streets. Gelato kisses. Loud, chaotic dinners with their families where hands waved, voices rose, and Kimi always passed her the last piece of bruschetta.

They didn’t just grow up together. They grew into each other.

So no, Yn and Kimi weren’t like siblings. They were soulmates. Born side by side. And falling in love? That was always the plan—even if they didn’t know it. But their parents? Oh, they knew.

And they’re still smug about it to this day.
