I recently completed an indoor mural for McCord Development in Houston, TX. I took a quick video of a mural I designed, illustrated and painted for my client. This project was a challenge to conceptualize with the client based on their vision for how new employees learn about the company, how they work together as a team and the flow of work. I worked with Ryan McCord, president of McCord Development to bring his business document to life.

Pepperoni is rescued Eastern Red Bat with one wing. She is not a pet, but a permanent resident, non-releasable because of injury, of Second Chances Wildlife Center in Kentucky. She was found by a pizza place, which is why she is named Pepperoni! I created an illustration of her from a video of her sitting in cotton ball position, eating a delicious mealworm; but I changed to a slice of mealworm pizza. After Midnight the moths will play and drink nectar from the night blooms. Little Poppy is a Ruby Heart Witch Moth, she loves to sneak into homes to slumber after drinking nectar from the night blooms. Katsola saw her sleeping one night under her desk. She let her rest and looked up when dawn would be arriving and set an alarm for a quarter before dawn. She woke up and waved a overripe piece of fruit under the desk to wake Poppy. Poppy gently woke up and flew about knees length to Katsola, and flew out the back door that had been opened for her. Katsola tucked the fruit behind a potted plant for Poppy to enjoy later.
