“M’lady quickly to the gates!” One guard was all that had been sent. One.  He was standing a step behind her, urging her to get up. She could hear more of the platoon coming, and the foot beats of her attackers closing. Shaking herself from her dazy, she ignored the guard, and with all the strength she could muster, she flipped Holly over. “Call the healer!” unaware of how shrill she sounded, Vasna leaned over, her cheek just above the Half-Orc’s mouth. Holly’s breath was shallow. “What are you waiting for! Grab them!” Snarled at the guard. “ M’lady, we don't have time, your attackers are still coming.” The Guard begged. “We need to get you inside! The slave..” With a roar that reminded her of Holly’s Orcish fury, the Priestess summoned the last of her magic creating a wall of fire between them and their attackers. “Get. Them. Up.” She snarled through gritted teeth. Around her the rest of the garrison surrounded them, shields creating an interlocking wall, she glared up at the guard refusing to move.
