So there’s an artist who draws a lot of Ascended Astarion artist who has made some (from what I’ve seen) racist and antisemitic remarks.

So. Instead of going “ hey this person isn’t someone worth interacting in the fandom. We should block them and not allow them to interact with the rest of us because they make others feel unsafe”

Instead I’ve seen people using this as a way to put out sensational content.

Honestly what irritates me is how they lump the AA fandom with this bad egg with responses like.

“ psh like omg. Figures it would be an Ascended Astarion fan.” ( insert insult of persons character based on what FICTIONAL CHARACTER THEY LIKE.)

That we really shouldn’t go off of the actor interpretation of the character.

This started from talking about Emperor's boots, the fact that they never come off, and what he'd look like in crocs

i might get crucified for this but i think the emperor and astarion are very similar in terms of behaviour.

both of them value their survival over anyone else due to their trauma and they use ANY means necessary to ensure their survival. this ofc includes manipulating, gaslighting and even sleeping with tav/durge so they dont turn on them

and both of them are INCREDIBLY well written like I can't believe this.
