I finally took the time to photograph my vintage dip pen nib collection, and I need to share with you all how wonderful and diverse their designs are.

These two are my favorite. Just look at them! One of them is named Gorille and the other Mephisto, but to me they're little pumpkins.

And of course you gotta love the Pinocchio nib. You get to write with the nose of a tiny guy! Just not something you get to do anymore.

You gazed up at the lunar animatronic as his eyes danced across your form. A tickling sensation formed at the pit of your stomach, fluttering as it traveled up to your chest. He stood there, right arm folded and hand resting at the inside of his left elbow. Left hand brought up to rest lightly across his smile as his eyes twinkled down at you. Getting this kind of attention from your tall transatlantic accent having animatronic colleague wasn't something you expected to give you butterflies. You blamed it on the way his eyes were half lidded most of the time. Heavy, sleepy eyes. Nonetheless, you decided to humor him by offering a slow spin so he could get a full view of your uniform.

"My…my, my, my…", he trailed off with a rasp. The animatronic gave a low whistle as his internal fans whirred to life.
