Hello!My name is Ashley and I am a student at the Ohio State University. I am a Pre Medical student that is currently a Neuroscience, Medieval Renaissance major. I Have been thinking about it for a while now and I am ready to drop neuro as a major and I am deciding on either a Sustainable Plant Systems major with a specialty in Landscape Design and a Minor in Horticulture, or a Major in Landscape Architecture. But i dont really know the difference between landscape design and landscape archite
Hi Ashley!I apologize for the delayed response and it doesn't say how long ago you wrote this so I hope you were able to find the answers you were looking for earlier! In the short: landscape design and landscape architecture can be the same thing in practice but some municipalities require a licensed landscape architect stamp before approval of some projects. This is especially true if you want to work for the public realm and not only for residential development. Hopefully this helps! Good luck to you!-Jess
