I work as Legal office assistant. My job is to complete many routine administrative tasks and assist lawyers with legal work, including research, court filings and client communication. I work under the direction of lawyers and help them prepare for meetings, hearings and trials. I frequently undertake research projects for multiple cases to determine precedent, draft or complete legal documents and ensure the correct paperwork is filed with the courts within a specific time period. In many cases, legal office assistants like me work directly with clients in a non-advising capacity, such as answering questions, scheduling appointments and making sure all court requirements are met. Bear, Delaware (September 11, 2017) – A 36-year-old male pedestrian was injured in a collision with a vehicle at an intersection in Bear, New Castle, on Monday morning. According to a report by the New Castle County Paramedics and Christiana Fire Company, the incident happened at about 6 a.m. September 11, at the intersection of Howell School Road and Woods Road. An official confirmed that the man had suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Christiana Hospital by ambulance.
