Thank you.

As the news from KELNER sinks in, we want to take a moment to do some thank-you's.  This has been an incredible journey with KELNER, and all of you who supported them (and us) on this awesome ride.  

First and foremost, we want to thank KELNER--JP and Kenneth--for the gift of their unforgettable music.  The songs they created together were nothing short of spectacular.  From beautiful ballads to upbeat dance tunes, they did it all.  KELNER's sound was unique, and we will be forever grateful that we were able to experience it.

Not only were we honored to be part of the team, helping to promote them around the world and get their music heard, but also to call them friends.  In working with JP and Kenneth, we gained family, plain and simple.  KELNER may be a closed chapter in our lives, but the friendships will remain forever.

We also want to thank you, all the fans.  Thank you for supporting KELNER by purchasing their music, voting in contests and subscribing to music channels, all in order to hear their fantastic sound.  Thank you for supporting us with our fan pages and other social media ventures.  We hope you enjoyed our little corner of KELNER-land!

So now, we all move onto new adventures.  No one knows what the future holds, but we believe that their musical talents will not fade into the sunset, rather be born again someday, to bring us all joy once more.

From official KELNER...sad news today from Norway.

These words aren’t easy to write. It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to close what has been an amazing chapter in our lives – both personally and musically. We have found the time right to move “on to something new” – as was the title of our newest recording, one out of a total of 14 releases since 2011.

We never imagined when we started out that these songs would end up being played on radio in four continents, that we would one day perform in front of a crowd of 6000 people, or that we would have the privilege of working with some of our musical heroes.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to making this chapter so special for us, including our teams around the world, who have put more effort than we could ever expect into spreading our music in your respective countries.

Thank you to our former members Einar K Fíve, Jon-Erik Gretland and Fredrik André Johnsen for being a part of the journey; our photographer, videographer and visual expression of KELNER, Thomas Sandfield; our first manager Dag Solheim; and to our manager since 2013, Arne Aronsen, who has laid down uncountable hours, and without any doubt been the third man in the band. Thank you to our record labels Lydmuren AS, Soundbay Records and MTG Music for believing in us. Thank you also to everyone else who in big and small ways has supported and helped and made this journey an incredible one.

Most of all, we’d like to thank all of our faithful listeners. You have meant - and still mean - the world to us! Your words of encouragement have kept us going!

We’d like to point out that we remain friends, and that the reason for closing this chapter in our lives can’t be explained in any other way than that we – after doing this for more than five years – felt the time had come to pursue other personal and musical dreams that we’ve had to put on hold for a while, because of the increasing time and work which KELNER has demanded as the band has grown from being a hobby to a near full time job.

We end this note with the finishing words of our newest song: “I will find a way to carry on to something new.”
