"..We woke up to a foggy morning but the view outside was breathtaking..Let’s pray we don’t have to see a day when the island will be wiped out from the maps due to flooding.."

Majuli had a total of 1,250 km sq. In the beginning of 20th century. Today, it is just around 400 km sq. Formed by the confluence of Brahmaputra and its ana branches, is at a verge of disappearing soon.
