Forgive yourself for those times when you stayed in a toxic relationship to prove your worth and loyalty and you tolerated a lot of sh*t you didn't deserve because you were traumatized, living in survival mode, and afraid to lose people.

you never know who God is trying to reach through your obedience. i realized that today - someone i looked up to that was with me at the start of my highschool journey has been going through a difficult time in their lives but i did not know. i randomly complimented them because something was telling me i should. to find out, that small statement made their day and gave them motivation to carry on made me smile. most of all, it made me believe God really does speak through me sometimes and even though my journey with Him is rocky, it's so worth it.

seeing your old friends Graduate and it feels like saying hello and goodbye all in one.

sometimes the moral of the story really is just "you cannot go back and what happened to you is going to be with you for the rest of your life. but it's still going to be okay" huh

when you grow up, sometimes there are changes you don't expect, and you have to face things you're not ready for. but don't lose sight of you who you are just because of your circumstances. your identity is a gift. always remember that.

i think there are people that help you become the person that you end up being, and you can be grateful for them even if they were never meant to be in your life forever.

it's okay to cry. don't suffocate yourself with emotions and problems, and set yourself free from burdens. you're already putting too much on yourself, let this be the one thing you don't add to your plate.

please, do not mistake my tendency to be private and stand-offish for either insecurity or arrogance. once you get to know me, you'll find i'm both lively, kind and genuine. these high walls aren't there because i want to keep the whole world out. i'm just particular about who i invite back into mine.
