Why this photo of Kimye gives me LIFE

Ever since the Kanye West concert incident rumors of the couple splitting have been flying around. Which is why when I saw this photo, life was given to me! This photo means so much more than the other KIMYE family photos. This photo says “I’m still here”. Let’s be clear Kim is not going any where and neither is Kanye. They are in it for the long haul. The highs and the lows. I am just so happy to see Kim stick by her husband. They come to slay every time, but with this pic they slaughtered. TEAM KIMYE ALL DAY!

When You Make New Friends & There Is Nothing But Good Vibes

This photo was taken with a group of complete strangers that I met in Charlotte. My friend and I just felt it was necessary to start a conversation and be the friendly black girls in the club. So often we think that every guy that approaches us is trying to take us home. Or every black Queen is in competition with each other. This is not always true, what is wrong with making new friends male or female just to build relationships. You never know how that person may help you or connect you with the right people. There is power in being connected. So next time you are in the club and see another “sistah” looking beautiful, COMPLIMENT her with a smile! If a guy comes up to approach you, thank that King for having the confidence to approach you and have a conversation. You don’t have give him your number, it’s all about being social, networking and connecting the Black Community.

Heather Lindsey’s  “How to Recognize a Woman Collector”

Women this is a must read. I took the time this morning to read this article and I feel enlightened. Sometimes we don’t recognize things right away in others and in ourselves. We have to stay focused and eliminate distractions! I have never had so much confirmation in a stage of my life. I have been praying for guidance on so many levels and for so many things. Today I am thankful that God is slowly revealing to me the path he wants me to take I just have to be patient and wait on him. Ladies if you are struggling with “non profiting” relationships, read this blog post by Heather Lindsey and get ready to remove yourself from those situations and get re-focused.
