I have just received an email about people handing out discord server links showcasing my game's paid content. I'd like to remind everyone that STREAMING/RECORDING of my game's PAID CONTENT is STRICTLY PROHIBITED be it in public platforms or in discord servers.

(I'd like to elaborate that handing out a discord server link to the PUBLIC is still considered public streaming since you're literally inviting strangers in to view the nsfw content for FREE)

It is clearly stated in my rules and is the first thing you see once you open my game's itch page:

I am aware situations like these are unavoidable (and I don't have much power to control situations like these) but please don't put it out there in the public where minors can see (there are apparently 10 year olds who know about my game?!)

I may have separated the explicit content from the game but that does not mean the base game is anywhere safe either. My game will tackle deep and sensitive topics in the future and I have placed multiple warnings already in game and on the game's itch page.

If you cannot afford the game, that's alright, as I've said before, I do not care and you're not prioritized to pay for the game, it is already free to play with restrictions and those restrictions have well enough reason to be hidden behind a paywall, I hope you all understand.

I would also like to point out that THERE IS NO OFFICIAL #TKaTB_VN DISCORD SERVER. I'm too tired and inexperienced to handle a discord server so please be weary of joining random channels and servers! (However, you're free to make one to talk about the game/share/interact!)

Regardless, this is just plain disrespectful to me and I hope no other indie game developer goes through this.

I need money for rent ✨

Tl;dr my stepmom keeps raising the price of my rent, charging me weekly, and my hours at work suck so I can't afford it. I'm about to enter my homeless era so if anyone in Northern Kentucky is looking for a roommate hmu ✨

I've decided to stay in Kentucky (my current state of residence, tragic I know)

My stepmom WAS charging me 500 dollars a month in rent to stay with her

BUT

Recently she's been acting really shady and changing the prices

She started having me pay 125 dollars a WEEK instead of a month

Which wouldn't be that bad except I work at SHITASS KROGER (that's right I'm name-dropping) WHERE THE HOURS FUCKING SUCK

I requested for more hours at work but my manager basically looked at my request and flushed it down the toilet because you need seniority for them to even vaguely consider your hours

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE

Remember when I said my stepmom was being shady and changing the prices??

Yeah so one week she's making me pay 225 dollars a week

(including this week lol. lmao even)

And now she's asking for 175 dollars a week

Now I'm no mathematician but I don't think that's 500 dollars a month

And with my SHITASS hours at work I'm basically giving up my whole paycheck every week

This means I can't save up ANY MONEY WHATSOEVER to move out

She's basically trapping me here under the threat of homelessness, changing up the rent whenever it suits her mood

I don't even think my paycheck is gonna be 225 dollars this week, I'm getting it today though so we'll see

Her changing it to 175 a week is kinda my last straw?? I genuinely need to get the fuck up outta here so I'm being so fr if anyone in Northern Kentucky needs a roommate DM me here
