So many “how to find free/budget TTRPG art” guides are just like “Pixabay exists” and that’s it. Even with the resources, it’s difficult to actually find usable art, especially if you’re looking for illustrations and not photos, and ESPECIALLY now that you have to wade through AI stuff on a lot of these websites

As time goes on, I have less and less sympathy for my current d&d character, which is kinda cool imo. To be able do bad things in character (not to the detriment of the party’s goals or other players’ enjoyment) that feel like the “right” thing to do while immersed in the story, which I as a real person can look back objectively and go “man this guy sucks!”

D&D highlight from last weekend: rolling a nat 20 to convince someone to let me use their bathroom and then rolling another nat 20 to trick them into thinking that I had in fact use said bathroom.

btw don't go to 5e.tools for free access to basically every official DND 5e resource including books, spells, races, stat generators and homebrew guides, because that's illegal and such a widespread and creative game should not be open access for everyone because that would be bad. just letting you know not to go to that website and do that
