I guess I don't really have AU names so much as I have story names?? maybe? but um, the story it's attached to is called The Secrets We Keep.

Also, rare Carmine appearance! I uh... I think I accidentally faded out her mole cause I thought it was part of the blushies but uh... I'm not fixing it oops

There's not, a ton of lore drop I can do for this one, cause of the way it's set up most of it would be spoilers??? but more will be under the cut ✌️(I wrote it and it ended up being just about as long as the last one? but like, not a lot of actual *story* info s'all)

So, this AU spans the entirety of the DLC, Florian's also done the main story- possibly prior to the events? I haven't decided yet but it all happens off screen (off text? idk)

So! Kieran's family are Zorua/Zoroark (not spoilers since it's like literally in the first few paragraphs lol)

Uhm, a few thingies about that- Their family has been integrated into Kitakami society for generations, so much so they'd almost be considered a different species than the Zoroark line altogether. They can no longer speak with other Pokemon, having lost that ability a long long time ago.

They also see nothing wrong or weird about raising Pokemon since they've been living with and raised around humans for so long (although they do get a little weirded out if they see someone with a Zorua or Zoroark)

Their Illusions work in a way similar to transform, being that their senses and feelings change to match the form they're taking (A Zorua would not feel it's tail if it was in human form, for instance) additionally their senses partially match that of what they're disguised as, although not as accurately as transform (smell hearing and sight are all more acute in their true forms)

Also, certain Pokemon, specifically Noctowl, can see through the disguise. Their disguises are slightly stronger than a normal Zoroark line's, being that it takes a little bit more than a single hit for it to burst. It is very *very* unlikely something like a tumble, or a blow from a human would knock them out of it. They could probably take one, maybe two regular powered blows from a Pokemon, but a powerful blow would take it down in one go. (IE: Terapagos blow would have not just broken the disguise it would have still very badly injured if not killed Kieran)

Also, very strong emotions can sometimes cause the disguise to burst, it has to be in moments of high distraction or otherwise caught off guard to be a possibility though, simply building up to a strong emotion won't do anything.

Clothes work in a specific way- Clothes aren't part of the illusion, when they are disguised they can put on clothes like normal, and when they transform into their true forms, it disappears into some kind of pocket space, and will be there when they become disguised again.

The shadow effect in the picture is just for the cool effect, their shadows cast the same thing that their disguised as typically, however sometimes out of the corner of one's eye it might look odd.

Kieran and Carmine's nails grow in red. Carmine gets away with just saying she paints her nails. Kieran gets away with it too, but doesn't want to look like he's copying his sister so he actually paints his nails.

Kieran never ever uses public restrooms, and when he has to he makes sure no one else is in there before he goes.

This Kieran is far, far more mischievous than my other AUs, it's in his nature.

Sometimes he gets in trouble because of his instincts, an example being going up into the mountains late at night. Partially still because of being drawn to Ogerpon, partially because of being drawn outside at night. When he was younger he had a harder time keeping his disguise and being that Zorua aren't native to Kitakami, it scared the villagers. While his grandparents were a little worried about his safety, they were more worried about him getting found out.

Neither of them know any moves, but if they were put in a very bad situation they'd probably end up manifesting something like night slash or night daze. On Florian's side of things, he attends Uva, I'm not sure what starter he started with? Suggestions welcome lol. He has pink hair and blue eyes. He's also very cheerful most of the time and playful. Loves his mom very much.

annnd I think that's just about it!

I'm really excited for this one, I even have a few scenes for it written out already, but they're mostly later story ones.

Oh! and this one is def a university AU cause of stuff that happens later in the story,
