Compulsory Question 2
In the 10th week, there was a time to show what I wanted to be and my work, and many things became clear with this. When we showed each other's works as a group, one student was interested in graphic design that was made into ai, and the other student was enjoying and selling goods through his cartoon-style Ilust. In this class, I explained my artistic design perspective as a typography designer by showing various typography conducted in the past, but looking at such different students, I thought there was no need to limit my artistic interests or dreams.
this is the image of virtual youtubers live streaming contain the elements that i like in design character and futuristic screen designs
That is why my dream, the statement of my artistic perspective as an illustrator, is 'Gapmoe'. Gapmoe is a synergy or characteristic that occurs when things with different or different qualities meet each other, and I seem to judge the works in a different atmosphere that the viewer feels in an unexpected part or unintended place. You have to always apply these conditions, and if the work looks bad without these elements, it is not that. I think it is very important not only to convey one intention in a single work, but also to the factors that change once more when viewed from a different perspective and various intentions. When I draw an illustration, I always pay attention to the charm of the character, but other than that, I can convey a different feeling to the viewers through contextual production such as the background. The work below is the work of a 100-year-old artist. The artist draws a character digitally as if he had painted an oil painting, but the movement and appearance of the character make the painting spread as if it were intended, obscuring the gap between the 2D space and the 3D space we are seeing now. It is important to see these aspects.

The work I chose again is Ho Ho Ho Ying's Rhythm of Dance as in the last time. Since the artist drew an abstract painting, we have to listen to the title and find the dance and rhythm in the painting. If you hear the name, you might think they are violent dancers, but the reason I like this work is because I intuitively found and was inspired by the kind of gritty typography that I like. I think the work itself is meaningful, as if the title has a gap between rough and promiscuous white shapes compared to a warm and soft background such as my statement, and only when you look at the title, you can see the intention of the work.

Compulsory Question 1
Explain your group’s manifesto. Include image/s in your response.

Our group's manifestos contain the hardships of students who dream of becoming designers and students every time. If you don't start as in the first example, it's not normal to get stuck before you even think of an idea or sleep at 5 a.m., but as always, design is also an area of creation and it's our duty to work for better design, so we created this manifesto.
Do you personally have an alternative manifesto? Would you make changes to the
group outcome? How, and why?
That's what it says in the manifesto that Nice is a trap for society, but my manifesto has a mixed opinion on this opinion. Of course, not all good words are helpful. If that happens, you will become more and more objective about your design and results, and eventually your skills and results will never develop. However, if you think that all good things are a trap, and if you see your work every time, you think that it is an act of putting stress on yourself. People always think that carrots and sticks are necessary, so I think you should always be critical and explore your work, but you don't have to be critical of words of praise. Therefore, my manifesto is ‘When someone say nice Be happy, but don't be cocky’
Which aspects of CTS B were particularly significant for you?
Each time, cts is a studio class that I usually do. It was always important to explore yourself or learn about other students' opinions and dreams, away from other classes. In fact, I usually draw illustrations as a personal work, but I thought that these personal works were not very related to design school. For this reason, there were cases where I felt skeptical when I was giving a design class. However, there are cases where I put my interests and things I like in design as examples and explain them together every time I conducted a class, and each time, the scope of my favorite design was naturally narrowed down.Originally, I wanted to be a fashion designer, so I enjoyed making typography that often goes into graphic design on clothes like the digital artist Artyomtogo below.

You should integrate connections to your other modules in your discussion.
(Studio, Design Skills, Materiality... etc.)
In fact, cts does not directly change the work in the studio or other modules. However, through this module, it was possible to learn how to look more objectively and critically. In particular, since the studio's module has a task made up of partners, I thought that differences in opinion coordination and each other's design methods would cause quarrels or troubles, but as mentioned earlier, it seemed that this ability was developed because they could engage in modules in a constructive manner that could develop the work more objectively. In term2, it was not easy to set a direction because I was making zine because the subject was subject to several restrictions, but because I also had time to explore my identity in the cts class, I can found it easy than before.

This Is How You Critically Analyse Artistic Traditions and Lineages
For the first time, I was able to see the works of local artists at the Singapore Art Gallery. In Korea, I visited many galleries, and local artists were inspired by various media with water, but they seemed to be heavily influenced by the society and traditions they belong to. In the case of traditional oil paintings, since they were drawn as they are to capture the lives of Singaporeans, they were able to find out what their lives were like in the past, such as through media such as pictures. The most impressive and notable work was the work called Rhythm of Dance. Although it looked like my favorite typography format, it was an abstract and dynamic expression of people dancing. Ho Ying, the artist of this work, is a Singaporean artist who used oil paintings in the 60s and 70s to express the appearance of various people with abstract and intense colors. Similarly, there is an artist named Lee Jung-seop in Korea who is famous for his similarly dynamic and intense paintings of small colors. In fact, contemporary art is meaningless to those who are rambling to produce it these days, and there are many works just for commerce, but I think this contemporary art is also outstanding in meaning because it seems that the artist explores himself and reveals the way he sees the world in his work. Of course, the development and direction of art are similar, but it was a very noticeable point that the material of the work and the culture shown in the work are completely different depending on the era and country.

This Is How You Connect Practice with Society
What is a design that can change society? Many designs are approached in a variety of ways to solve social problems. As you can see often, there are usually environmental problems when trying to solve them with a variety of ideas. The picture below is a military doctor made by a British designer using only recycled plastic. In this way, it can be seen that various designs are being used and consumed to solve the one big social problem of environmental pollution. However, when I made videos in the class, social problems were not limited to this environmental pollution. In class, we were to film various local problems, but there were some cases that could be solved with a little understanding and concession to each other in everyday life, and there were many problems that needed to be changed socially, not just a problem of consideration. In this way, social problems are around in various ways depending on the scale and people's thoughts. It made me think that these social problems could be solved through campaign design. Even in the case of the elderly and the elderly seats, the seat itself is different and emphasized like Mrt rather than generally attached to it in writing, so it seemed that people recognized the surrounding gaze and gave up their seats without sitting easily. I thought it might be possible to make a design that gives me a little more alertness or a chance to think again.

This is how you connect theory and practice
I was born in Korea. When I was young, the social atmosphere and people's perceptions were very solid. Men and women were divided by a wall that did not see a social job or position suitable for each gender, and young and old people were similarly divided. The world has unwittingly been locked in the social wall that people have learned, and people who break it and do other things have come to be viewed as strange people. Recently, however, by judging one's identity from various perspectives and converging the various societies in which one belongs, I felt that one was changing so that others could pioneer a way without being bound by gaze and society. In class, I had time to find out the commonalities that are connected to each other's identities with my classmates. Everyone often thought of various elements originating from each other's roots and culture as identities first. Students from Korea like me also often consider the Korean element as one of their identities. And in my case, I was able to understand once again that games, illustrations, design, and music are what I want to make and what I can live by converging the environment I grew up in and the things I have consistently liked. And I also thought that these factors were the reason why I was studying design at school and following the path of a designer, and that my identity was established as a designer.

WOII class experiences summarise
Unlike last semester's ‘Critical Thinking’ course, this semester's WOII class was mainly focused on developing the design perspective and ability. Particularly, I was able to examine the perspectives of other students through simple assignments and presentations conducted by teams or individuals in the class. Moreover, I could personally see how I was grasping various artistic theories. While designing the website and card, I was able to connect the methods and ideas that I wanted to challenge anew.
In particular, I assumed that the museum exploration in the middle was very newfound approach to exploring design rather than learning history for the first time. There were many design approaches that I had solved without basic knowledge, but I have learned that I could design my thoughts more effectively if I had rudimentary knowledge. Of course, I wanted to major in design and went to the design department with the intention of becoming an illustrator.
Nevertheless, compared to the last Semester, the problem of design tasks was not solved well and I was not good at improving the quality of the assignment. However, through this session, I was able to have little more interest in graphic design, and I think the biggest value is to be able to get motivated by looking at various artworks.

Art Ecosystem
In this class, the school was an open during the studio period, therefore I spent moment to be inspired by the works of students from other grades. The typography artwork in the Diploma 3rd grade (Senior Level) classroom was the most impressive work! The reason is that I want to work in the field of illustrators. However, nowadays illustrations are often required to perform trendy designs, so typography is often added to the background or character concept art.
As shown and mentioned through the picture and given link below, I really liked the black and white typography made with illustrators in design, and it was particularly impressive that the texture was designed to give a pixel feel. These typos can be used as brand names when creating various goods, and can be used prettier when printed on hoodies or T-shirts in a graphic artwork. In addition, dinosaur illustrations in the background are also combined with text to enrich the image. I was inspired by the creation of a similar title in my website work.
As described above, Des Angel, the brand of artist Kishiki, which are one of my most interested in recent years and developing a stylish design by drawing such typos and animate style characters. In these elements, I could able to create various graphic designs by mixing my interest in illustration and typo design skills, and I was able to expand it in the area of graphic design to establish a direction that could bring out more trendy sensibilities as much as I was interested in fashion design.
In conclusion, I have very successfully enjoyed this given course with my passion.

Postmodernism
‘Postmodernism’ is the things that can break modernism for the simple definition. But after taking this given class/course, I have realised that I misunderstood the actual meaning of postmodernism. I think postmodernism is something like dotting a picture, a building that is not in the shape of a rectangle but looks like it will collapse if you touch it, and music full of discord, but rather such a move was mainly made from the perspective of modernism. It is a theory that opposes uniform and rigid thinking and re-examines what has been regarded as non-mainstream elements until the present era, rather than just aiming for dissolutions such as chaotic chaos.
Postmodernism broke the established rules about style, it introduced a new era of freedom and a sense that ‘anything goes’.
As mentioned above, I have created the website and saw various website references in my studio work, however ordinary websites often valued minimalism, therefore I wanted to change that part like what I learned in class. Since it is the website related to trading cards, I have referred to lots of sites related to similar trading card games in context, and then expressed subcultures on the website to make it look new.
As shown in the picture, it was thought that the website could be constructed more uniquely by fusing non-mainstream cultures, and it was actively used in studio work. All the components are made with simple and clear layout, but background or the icons are combined with subculture.
In conclusion, I have very successfully enjoyed this given course with my passion.

How to analyze a work of design
In class, it was mainly done to analyze the items each brought. Depending on the object, some items are brought because they feel that they are well structured, and others are brought because they have strong memories and memories of the object. Each object has a different design reason and place to use, and for that reason, the material is all different. The trading card being designed in the studio has a strong collection of reasons for its existence, so I thought that a rare design that creates a desire for collection would be important. An example is a robot called Kubo, which was seen in the Museum of Modern Art. This doll is a cat-like robot whose tail responds to people who have difficulty raising cats to soothe their tired minds, and the intention, material, and shape or shape of the design came to think that it was suitable.

The following week, I visited the National Museum of Singapore. What caught my eyes the most in the National Museum was the cannon in the image below. It looks like a cannon, but since the existence of cannons in people at that time was similar to a dragon blowing fire, I thought it was shaped like a dragon, and I thought it projected a hard and strong image using iron, the original material of the cannon. Even if it is not a practical part, when viewed from an artistic point of view, I thought it was an excellent design because the cannon's design was colorful and I could imagine various things. When I designed my design, I thought it was for the same reason that I intentionally arranged the edges and arrangements of designer cards in a long time ago in order to make use of the sensibility of sf, even if it was not a practical part.

Semiotic
Semiotics is the study of identifying the functions, nature, laws, relationships, and expressions of symbols used by people, and studying raw liver, interpretation, sharing, and communication of meaning using them. There are three types of symbols to be displayed: icons, indexes, and symbols. Unlike phenomenology, it is a design element that is used by a person who designs accurately. During class, logos of various companies were shown as examples or various outdoor advertisements were analyzed. As an example of analyzing advertisements in this way, in modern times, it has come to be effective to express the meaning directly when designing. For example, if you look at an advertisement in Nivea, there is an advertisement that becomes smooth after applying Nivea where the painting is old and has a crack, and even if the function or element of the product is not added, it shows that rough skin becomes clean skin, so people can understand and understand the effectiveness of the product by attaching only the Nivea logo to the corner. Taking Craft Time as an example, it was inspired by tears to create a font to effectively express homesickness, and it was very important to design the three keywords you chose on the trading card in the studio time, but I didn't think it was a good way to add too much annotation, so the background and portrait were redesigned to fit the theme so that the characteristics of the designer and illustrator were clearly revealed.

Phenomenology
Phenomenology is basically a study of living experiences that began with the study of philosophy. As many philosophers say, it is a major explanation that reality and consciousness collide with each other and develop as a common understanding. The first to lay the foundation for phenomenology was the German philosopher Edmund Husserl. He decided that the positivism and psychology that developed the most in the 19th century during his life had led to the starkness of all socio-cultural values in life, so he created phenomenology that subjectivity is important because consciousness is always directed at an object in order to establish such a system. Phenomenology offers a variety of experiences even though art is analysed. Since each person has different environments and stages in which they have lived, even if an artist composes a work with his or her own theme, evaluation and interpretation can be derived differently from person to person. In class, I drew my own interpretation of the shadow as a picture, and I was surprised to see that although I interpreted it as a being that hindered one's own in the dark history or the future, other students interpreted the interpretation of the shadow realistically by focusing on its existence.Based on this experience, I experienced phenomenology again in the collage work of the craft workshop in parallel with this project. The theme is to create a collage of a place where you have memories, and other people may interpret photos related to your childhood living space as just happy memories, but I have a clear memory of a house in ruins due to redevelopment when I was young, so I conceived it as a dark image.

Connect CTS A to your learning and professional journey
To begin with, I selected the positions of creative director and illustrator as my two career goals. Of course, the mindset that was brought up a lot during the preparation process for the illustrator was the most crucial subject. Regarding artificial intelligence (AI), illustrators were also thought to have a high probability of being replaced in the near future. However, after watching a YouTube interview, I realized that while AI illustrators are one type of Korean webtoon artist, there are already millions of talented artists worldwide.Consequently, I discovered that studying and working harder at the things I want to do are more essential than losing the things I want to do and simply accepting how the world is changing. These viewpoints led me to believe that an illustrator's work is most closely related to a developing attitude.Virgil Abloh is the creative director I respect the most. Although he didn't last long, he had a huge impact on the Off-White brand. His resume clearly demonstrates this, but I also believe that collaborative abilities, critical thinking to comprehend how current events and trends are developing, and the ability to organize the process of arriving at one's ideas and conclusions would be crucial in landing the position.Finding trends is, in the opinion of creative directors, the most important thing to do, but it makes sense to investigate several sources for this information. I believed it was crucial to plan my future growth based on several aspects of my own development and to apply critical thinking techniques in studio lessons.Furthermore, I believe that building one's future through a three-year Diploma program is considered travel. During this process, I felt that I gained enough various experiences to be able to appropriately alter the occupations that I wanted to change depending on them. I did discover, though, that I must dedicate myself to this and consider it a form of inner and skill development.

Connect CTS A to all your other modules (and components)
We were introduced to critical thinking for the first time in class during the first week. Many abstract graphics with points but gain with embrace failure were observed. Additionally, consider carefully the prompt provided in the studio module. Additionally, discover how to capture more artistic photos when it comes to photography. I began immediately exchanging ideas with friends during craft or studio time after learning about collaboration skills in the second week. I also learnt how to make the most of my time by cutting down on it. I was able to find answers in the task or check the effects combined in both the studio and craft processes. In the third week, I learned about emotional intelligence, which helped me to better understand the studio work I had done the first week with emotional expressions. The debate and solution-facing confrontation takes place the following week. This taught me that I could receive comments from all studios and craft work more quickly. We also gained knowledge on how to diffuse conflicts with fellow group members in all cooperative projects. The fifth week focused on developing a mindset. This shift in perspective is important when deciding whether to employ available resources more actively when working in a studio and looking for a way to get started in a better direction without feeling guilty about failing. In the sixth week, we were once again made crucial for organizing techniques like the mla citations we are writing and the cpj, which condenses studio work into research and processes, by reminding us of the significance of dependant and dependable resources. I studied digital media for art practice throughout the most recent week, and similar to the previous resource, I started to believe that cpj and all other processes are proof of my work.

How do you understand the Critical thinking skills module?
Explain your choice of visual metaphor. Do you have an alternative visual metaphor?
Include image/s in your response.
The critical thinking course consisted of seven distinct topics. Every topic is interconnected like a root, and my studio work may be linked to the path this class want to take through the interactions of all the topics.
However, the Growth Mindset topic is the most crucial one of them. The remaining topics are equally successful in augmenting the growth of an individual's capacity for creativity and critical thinking; however, modifying the mindset is evident in the variations in their assessments of the diverse issues they encounter. Self-improvement, or I could create the picture I did in class! The same effect is visible as. As demonstrated in the example below, Takashi Murakami, a writer who was aiming for analog, was inspired to expand his world with digital work without hesitation as a new step. As a result, I also gained confidence that I could show off my creative desires and individuality even if it was not perfect. In fact, there were many times when I was not familiar with digital work while teaching studio classes. I started to believe that the growth mindset phenomenon described earlier was responsible for this line of thinking. I believed that emotional intelligence functions in tandem with the mindset. The development of the mentality, which helped people feel more confident in themselves, also enhanced their emotional intelligence and enabled them to interact with other designers with respect and learn from their experiences. In fact, I believe it is crucial since each topic enhances the others simultaneously and has the potential to advance self-development by encouraging an unbiased assessment of oneself. You must consider these topics once more before beginning any work or design in order to streamline the process of determining your thoughts and achieving the desired outcomes.

Emotional intelligence
Through this class activity, I thought the strongest part was relationship management of course, it is an important buoy in other social relations, but I thought I was able to play a good role in improving the relationship so that I could solve the awkwardness of the group members and produce better results. However, what was weak in comparison was none other than self-management.”And it’s worth doing—as you improve your self-management skills, you’ll naturally grow as a leader”. Rather, it was difficult to manage myself because I focused more on dealing with other relationships with my team members In this class,”And it’s worth doing—as you improve your self-management skills, you’ll naturally grow as a leader” Like this quote even the part of leadership grew slowly. This part was kind of dilemma to me because actually I want to improve my leadership but actually it goes to the wrong way. And then we had time to learn from each other by acting on human problems in various activities, but it seems that our scripts were a little ambiguous because we focused on distributing and decorating scripts or the roles of our members in this class.

Collaborative skills
During the second weeks of the critical thinking class, I have conducted a group meeting. Moreover, in this process, I was in charge of sketching and designing actual drawings by collecting ideas from my team members. Everyone in the team has founded it very difficult to come up the ideas dynamically, and the fundamentals were also my problem. In the process of making the designed monuments myself, I couldn't explain the idea that I had devised in detail to the same group members. Therefore, I thought these problems were my weaknesses, as if there were defects in the end. As described at the first, I have thought my advantage was able to design realistically based on practical results by collecting all the opinions of the group members in the process of brainstorming and developing ideas.
First of all, our team have formed a monument under the theme of world peace, and it was actually very regrettable that the shape was just an ordinary globe shape. ”It is defined as a state of law or civil government, a state of justice or goodness, a balance or equilibrium of Powers”. The most important part of world peace is, actually the world where everyone can live without discrimination, regardless of race or state. Therefore, even if it is shaped like a globe, it is appropriate to embody various skin colors and individual elements into human forms.

What is critical thinking
Before I have took this class, I was thinking about the definition of critical thinking, not in the framework of art, but in a broader range. Contrary to my previous definition of critical thinking, I have realized that this thinking is only a basic thinking ability for an artist to understand the action that they must take from a broad perspective.
I have learned that as the meaning of the word mindfulness is, I can pet myself by examining my inner self and looking at my mind by recognizing and checking through my mind. Moreover, based on this concept, I have been thinking that I can see my approach to design more objectively by combining it with critical thinking, improving both of my skills and perspective. ”Mindfulness offers a pause, a reset, and an alternate way of seeing ourselves and our environment by stepping out of ‘doing’ and into ‘being’” You can make a difference by mindfulness like the quoted sentence.
have been thinking that one of at the most eventful moment in this class was, also the first self-introduction time. Through at this time, I was able to check each team members of names and nationalities of the students in the same class. And which I did not know in the previous class, and it have made me realize that I am studying abroad the country, even though it was minor to talk with them.
