STAY HOME!!! • The past few days we have been getting more and more discouraged listening to people who think social distancing means going to a family members house, or setting up play dates with friends. This is not OK. Trust me, I get it. I have a 3 month old baby and our parents live 10 minutes away from us, but we are staying home. I am also the girl who has never gone more than 24 hours without talking to or seeing my mom, but we are staying home so that our parents can watch Kenzie grow up. I love family traditions and gatherings I love farmers markets and local coffee shops I love spring training and a good craft beer But I also love humanity I love hearing stories passed down for generations I love watching older couples hold hands thinking one day that will be Kev and I I love my parents who are both over 60 and on medications I love my daughter who I now want to protect and keep safe more than anything in the world So please know that when I tell you I’m staying in away from people it’s not that I don’t want to see you; quite frankly it’s the opposite.
