How can I be of service to life?
Pain is unavoidable, but suffering is a choice. That choice is the choice to push away our pain, instead of feeling it and letting it flow through us. Pain is temporary, but suffering lasts as long as we continue to push away our experience of pain.
Similarly, when we get something we want, we try to hold onto it. By pushing away and holding onto our experiences, we are resisting the natural current of this ever-changing and loving life.
We can choose, in any moment, to remember our pain and let it go. We let it go by feeling it, accepting it, and loving it. We say "thank you, pain, for being here," and in doing so, we open ourselves to the tenderness of our own hearts.
When we push away pain, we are saying it doesn't belong, that it is bad, that it is unworthy of the life that gave rise to it. But it was already here, it was already alive, we just decided it didn't deserve that, and we forced it away.
When we open to our pain, we are opening to the experiences that help us care the most. When we feel our pain in a tender and kind way, we learn from it and it helps us to grow. We become more loving as a result of our pain.
It is the fear that the pain will break us that makes us push it away, but that fear was false, a lie. The fear isn't bad, it's a natural part of being alive, but it was never meant to stay, it was meant to come and go. We held onto our fear and let it take over our lives. The truth is, the pain will open us up to our own innate compassion, both for ourselves, and for others who have experienced the same pain. Our pain is a gateway to our own love. In pushing away pain, we pushed away our ability to care.
We can all open up to our experience of this moment. In feeling our fear, in facing our pain, we become loving and we teach ourselves what we always needed to learn. Pain is a teacher. We can accept that and let it come and go, and as it goes it leave behind compassion. We learn kindness for pain, and we learn to nurture ourselves and others.
Everything is alive: the plants, the air, the water, the earth. When we feel our pain, we are serving life in a way that we have neglected for so long. When we pushed our pain away, we stored it within ourselves and we forgot how to love. When we learn to love again, all of life benefits, and we grow into who we truly are.
We are love. We care. We forgot, but we can remember. We can save this world, we can save each other, we can save ourselves. One fear at a time, one pain at a time, on moment at a time, we will open to the truth, which is always here and now. Love.

What is this moment?
Breathe, in and out, slowly and steadily. Can you notice that your breath is always here with you? Do you take that for granted? It's okay, most of us do. This breath is a sacred part of us that keeps us alive. It is always flowing through us, and it is always moving and changing.
Much like the breath, life is also always changing. Each moment is new and unique, there will never be another moment like it. Everything has been leading up to this moment, and everything will continue to go on, staying in the present moment forever.
We can choose to accept this change as a natural part of our lives, but most of us do not. We are fearful, and hurt, and we believe that we must make things happen the way we need them to.
How do the planets stay in alignment? Are we making that happen? Are we making our hearts beat and our lungs breathe? No. Why would we need to control that? It happens automatically!
The truth is, ALL of life is moved by the very same forces that create universes and sustain life. We do not need to DO anything to survive. Life will always change and move on, and it will take care of us if we can learn to take our hands off the controls. This world and this society may make it seem like we NEED things to survive, but even if we were homeless and made no money, we would find ways to cope and stay alive, and life would give us exactly what we needed to keep going.
Isn't it odd that everything always seems to work out? When you really think about it, there are infinite ways that each of us could die every day, but we don't. Even beyond that, what are the odds that we even exist? One planet, in billions of lightyears, just so happened to be the right distance away from a star to sustain LIFE!!! That is AMAZING, and yet we take it all for granted, because we are so caught up in controlling our .000000001% of life. Life is ALL THAT EXISTS. Why would we have to control our tiny portion of it, when we don't control anything else?
Let this truth sink deep into your being: there is NOTHING that you need to do. You are alive, and that is enough. Every moment led up to YOU being here. There was no mistake, and you were not born wrong. You are perfect, and if you let go of all of the stories that say you are not, that perfection will shine through effortlessly.
So how do we let this perfection shine through? The answer lies in a very obvious place that is always here with us, and yet we hardly notice it because we are so busy rushing from task to task. This moment, this second, this breath, is all there ever is. The past is gone, it no longer exists. All that exists is NOW. If we learn to live in this moment, that is all that we will ever need.
Love is an intrinsic part of being here Now. When you take your attention away from your mind and focus on what is right here, you begin to open yourself up to the love that has always been here. Love is here, right now, waiting for you to slow down and watch for it. It is silent, it is quiet, it is peaceful. It will not scream at you or make you do anything because it loves you. You have the free will to choose to ignore this moment, but as you ignore that, you ignore yourself, and your self is love.
Take a deep breath. In an out, one at a time. Pause. Take a break. Just sit and watch, be curious, be loving, be kind to this moment, and it will show you what you really are, and what you have always needed.

We are here, it's time to accept this moment
Welcome to my very first post! I welcome you, with an open heart and so much kindness <3 May this blog become a safe space for you and a place where we can all share our love.
The world we live in today is confusing and chaotic. It is difficult, even at the best of times, to find any glimmer of hope when everything seems so bleak. From global warming and horrible wars, to the pain of day to day life, this world seems to be on the brink of falling apart, and we are to blame.
We are taught from a young age to believe that there is something wrong with us. We think that we are fundamentally flawed, and we blame ourselves for our own pain, as well as the pain of all living beings on this planet. I am here to tell you all that this is not the truth.
We have turned against ourselves and the planet as a species, but that does not mean that we are bad or wrong. We are very misguided, and we are very hurt, but we have never been bad. We may do bad things, but WE are not bad.
From my own experience, I can tell you all that we have fundamentally misunderstood ourselves at a very deep level. We believe we are wrong, and we are to blame. The truth is, at our very cores, we are GOOD, and we care about life and each other.
Each and every one of us has our own story to tell, and our own reasons for doing what we do. By the time we are around 35, 80% of our life is lived on autopilot, each day blending into the next and containing the same patterns and events. We treat life as if it is a background to our experience, and we repeat our habits and mistakes over and over again in a never-ending cycle.
The time is NOW, to break these cycles and learn that we are not separate from life. Life is a part of us, it flows through us. We are a part of life. The very same forces that align the planets make our hearts beat and our lungs breathe. We are made of stardust. We are vibrant, caring, and ALIVE. And that is good.
We have never been bad. When a child makes a mistake, we have a choice to either scold them, or to help them. The truth is, we were never helped, and we were never loved in the ways we needed. Can you really blame us for seeming so broken, when we never got what we truly needed?
Love is what we are, all of us, at our cores. No matter how hidden that love is, it is what drives us. When we are hurting, we need love. When we are angry, we are covering our pain, our need for kindness and tenderness, out of fear that it is wrong. Needing love has never been bad or wrong. We need love to show us that WE are loving.
We were never shown the love we needed, and that stopped us from learning of the love that exists within all of us. The hope for this blog is that I can help at least a few people recognize that intrinsic love within them.
If you are willing to learn, if you are willing to let go, if you are willing to forgive, you too can awaken from the pain and suffering that we all share, and you can learn to care for yourself and others on such a deep level that you could not comprehend it now.
Love is here. Love is the revolution. love is what will save the world. It is time to learn to love ourselves fully and wholeheartedly. We ARE love. It will not be easy, and yet at the same time, it is so simple an it will become natural over time.
Join me as we explore our consciousness and our innate ability to care. Together, as a community, and as one consciousness, we can change the world, one loving act at a time.
